This is great, thick paper. I've used it for painting with gouache and it doesn't show through on the other side. A nice size too.

I wanted a mixed media pad because I like to have no limitations on what I create my art with (pencils, water colours, pens etc.). This pad is perfect for this purpose. It is a small size pad that can be carried arounf easily - which is my preference.

Its suitable for so many mediums, i just wish there were a few more pages. However, the sheets are quite thick so i you can also paint/draw on the page behind, which is rare with other book.

I bought this for my daughter and she is very happy as it suitable for several different media types.
