The toy is recommended for 3+, I bought it for my son for his 2nd birthday. he loves it. It helps develop fine motor skills Also behind each door is a picture with animals to help teach them to count. The quality is fantastic for the money also.

Does anyone else find the number 1 latch is so stiff, it's even difficult for an adult to open? Just wondering whether to ask for a replacement.

No 2 is a little stiff for us but it's not that bad. No one is ok. X

Does the zip part come apart completely? I want my daughter to practice putting the zip together as she is fine with the zipping up bit. Thanks

My granddaughter was given her Board on Saturday for her birthday - she is now 3. The zip could be put together and pulled apart. Her skills with the Board will develop and she gets older.
