I love this product! I was skeptical because I've used other types of mousse and they have never worked for me. Most of them have dried my hair something terrible. I have Type 3B tight, fine curly-kinky hair. I have chemical fragrance allergies and have had a really hard time finding products for curly hair that are fragrance free or use natural fragrances. In the case of this product, the fragrance is natural and very pleasant. My biggest problem in the morning is losing curl definition while I was sleeping. My new routine is to dampen my hair with some DevaCurl Mist-er Right Lavender Curl Revitalizer and I stick the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Frizz-Free Mousse in my hair. And then I'm done! The hold and shine are really incredible and my hair is definitely frizz-free. Even better, it doesn't feel weighed down from product and feels really soft!

I really like this! Its foamy and smells good. Gives me a little volume. I d definitely would purchase it again!

I LOVE that this brand is cruelty free, but they're quite expensive. I do enjoy this product for how light it is, but idk if it's worth it for how much I have to use with my long curly hair. The bottle has lasted me awhile but I don't use it daily. Try it if you want do, I don't believe you will be disappointed. The foam and the coconut smell are my favorite parts of this. It does help slightly with frizz, but isn't a heavy duty product.

I wasn’t expecting a mousse to become a holy‑grail product, but SheaMoisture’s Coconut & Hibiscus Frizz‑Free Curl Mousse completely surprised me. The first thing I noticed was how soft and touchable my curls felt — no crunch, no stiffness, just lightweight definition. The real test, though, was the Texas humidity, and this mousse delivered. My curls stayed shiny, bouncy, and frizz‑free all day, even when the air felt like soup. It gave me that healthy, glossy look without weighing my hair down or leaving residue. If you want curls that look styled and feel natural — especially in a climate that usually ruins good hair days — this mousse is absolutely worth trying.

My hair with no product is at best wavy, but using this lightly scented, foamy mousse while my hair is still damp has given me wonderful humidity resistant curls for up to two days without reapplying. I just follow the directions and apply to the ends and mid-length of my hair, scrunching it in, then loosely gather my hair in a clip on the top of my head and let it air-dry. Undo the clip and...soft, natural curls. I also use a Denon 7 brush to style small sections on the sides and top of my head for a more structured (STILL CURLY) do! Great product, love-love-love.

I'm a die-hard Shea Moisture fan and everyday user, but I found this product a bit hard to manage. I have 3A/3B curls for which I am paraben, sulfate, and silicon-free and regularly use Shea Moisture's Virgin Coconut Oil line, but have had luck with certain Coconut and Hibiscus products in the past. This is a very similar formula to the Hold & Shine Moisture Mist, but with a foaming dispenser rather than a spray trigger. I, personally, prefer the spray trigger as I find it easier to apply consistently without needing to touch my curls too much, which causes them to lose their structural integrity. This formula is probably wonderful for anyone with curls a little bit tighter and higher-porosity than mine. It does reduce frizz and add shine, and I've had no issues with it irritating my sensitive scalp. It smells like the rest of the Coconut and Hibiscus line (it has a subtle but pleasing light floral aroma) and is less a mousse than an oil foam. It does not form a gel cast once dry, and doesn't ever get crunchy or dry out my hair. My only issue with this product, really, is the application method. As with other Coconut and Hibiscus products, I find it just a tad too heavy for my fine curls, especially as you'll have to touch your hair to apply it.

I'm loving these products that I've recently found - and love that they are also kind to animals. I have long red hair that is mostly frizzy - only with a lot of effort will it go into ringlets that hold for a couple of days after the wash. I like my hair shorter - but it's just too hard to control; at least when I keep it long I can tie it up on bad days. I've been on a life long search for a great hair care product. I've used the Shea Moisture combo of this Shampoo, the Restorative Conditioner (I do the 3-15 mins after the shampoo, then add a small amount to leave in after my cold water rinse), and then I divide my hair into about 10 segments and apply the Cocoanut and Hibiscus Mousse (I only need 2 pumps to each segment, and twirl my segments around my finger) - wrap in a hair dry towel for half an hour and don't touch it! It's hanging in even the next day, and isn't wild and crazy even on the third day. Thank you Shea Moisture! I'm now thinking I could get my hair cut. Woo Hoo!

Cette mousse est devenue un véritable essentiel dans ma routine capillaire. Dès la première application, j'ai remarqué que mes boucles étaient plus définies, sans frisottis, et surtout, elles restaient en place toute la journée. J'adore le fait qu'elle soit légère, non collante et qu'elle n'alourdit pas mes cheveux. L'odeur est également très agréable, subtile mais présente. J'ai pris l'habitude de l'utiliser après chaque lavage, et mes cheveux sont plus doux, hydratés et pleins de vie. C'est un produit que je recommande à toutes les personnes ayant des boucles ou des cheveux texturés. Une valeur sûre que je continuerai à racheter encore et encore !
