Great finishing powder. Keeps the shine away

I've always had a lot of trouble keeping my makeup on and lasting longer. I've tried setting sprays as well as this setting powder and I'd say the powder works a bit better. Once applied I certainly feel more confident in the longevity of my foundation. It used to be I would see a noticeable reduction in coverage after around 2 hours of being at work, but with this setting powder I'd say it lasts around 4-5 hous before I can really see any flaws coming through. That's a great improvement for me and even by the end of the working day my makeup still looks better than it did before using this. Pros: Definitely prolongs makeup Easy to apply and feels soft on skin Very fine powder which isn't even noticeable once applied Cons: It is on the slightly more expensive side One of these finishing powders lasted 5 months of continuous use for me. I'm not sure really sure if that's a good result or not but Im quite happy with how long it lasted, especially as when you first open the container it looks less than half full. Great purchase though and I'll certainly be ordering another one shortly.

I'm really torn over this one. On one hand, 10 stars for longevity, probably the best powder I've ever had, easily lasts throughout the day and at the end of my 8 hr work day my make up looks like it wqs just applied 5 mon ago. No oily face whatsoever and no reaction at all by my overly sensitive skin. On the other hand however, it has an absolutely disgusting chemical smell that makes me sick and the powder is too fine, what makes it very wasteful, as you can't put it back to the tub without generating a huge cloud around yourself, amd a lot of it goes to waste. Still 4 star for longevity, but I'm not sure for how long will I be able to tolerate its smell

This is a good powder. Ray to use, don’t overuse as makes you look a bit pale.

This powder does what it says on the tin. It is a very fine, light translucent powder, white in colour but it does not add a white sheen to the face, which is great. The container it comes in isn’t ideal because a lot of the powder escapes every time the lid is opened. It doesn’t have the density and weight of other more expensive brands. I have personally found that it leaves a heavy powdery texture on the skin, which doesn’t happen with more expensive translucent powders. However, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a cost effective alternative. I’ve had mine for about six months now and I’ve definitely got another six months left, although I only wear makeup about twice a week.

I don’t have much energy so I love an easy fix. After I’ve washed and moisturised my face, I dust this Nyx powder all over my face. I then apply my makeup and fixing spray. Even after a full day’s teaching, my skin remains matte, my make up has not shifted, printed or bled, and my skin looks fantastic. I highly recommend this product! I’m absolutely hooked!

Je cherchais une poudre libre. J’avais l’impression que la précédente que j’avais achetée chez Kiko était peut être un peu trop compact. Ici c’est tout le contraire. Beaucoup trop libre. Tu ouvres l’opercule, y en a partout. J’ai à peine trempé mon pinceau, j’ai failli m’étouffer dans un nuage de poudre. Je caricature, mais il faudrait revoir le packaging Nyx 😅

Questa cipria l'ho comprata per la mia ragazza, che cercava qualcosa di leggero ma efficace per fissare il trucco. La utilizza ogni giorno e si trova alla grande: il finish è opaco ma naturale, non fa l’effetto “maschera” e soprattutto non secca la pelle. Appena applicata sembra bianca, ma si fonde bene e diventa praticamente invisibile, adattandosi al tono della pelle. Un'altra cosa che ha notato è che tiene a bada la lucidità per ore, anche quando si è in giro tutto il giorno. E non serve metterne tanta, quindi il barattolo dura parecchio. Nessun problema nemmeno con la rimozione: si toglie facilmente con un normale struccante. Insomma, una cipria che fa esattamente quello che promette — e anche qualcosa in più. La ricompreremo sicuramente.

Très bonne poudre de finition, elle matifie efficacement sans laisser de traces blanches. La texture est légère et agréable, parfaite pour un fini naturel tout en contrôlant la brillance toute la journée. Sa composition est plutôt clean, ce qui est un vrai plus pour moi. Je recommande vivement cette poudre à celles qui cherchent un bon produit à prix raisonnable.

If you're looking for a affordable and quality finishing powder, then this is it! I personally love this powder, it softens the rest of my makeup giving me a smooth and finished look. Although I use very little (since a little goes a long way) I love how it absorbs most of the oil from my face for a long period of time. Despite its greatness, I wouldn't say that I use this on a daily basis, but rather for when I go out and know that I will be taking a lot of pictures! I was initially skeptical of the product before buying it due to the reviews about "flashback" and "white faces," but I can assure that if you use it the right way, you won't look ghostly in pictures! So I'm going to clarify a few things that some may be confused about: 1. Since this is a finishing powder, you should use it only after you have applied everything -- foundation, powder, bronzer, blush, etc. THEN this powder. 2. Only use this ONE time!! This is not a touch up powder or something that provides extra coverage. So for all you face bakers out there, this is not the thing for that (honestly, no finishing powder really should be). 3. You must use the smallest amount EVER! A little goes a longggg way. So look at your brush. You think it looks good? Ok, cool! Now shake off even more excess. Trust me. 4. To avoid white streaks and moving your perfectly placed makeup always remember to PAT on your powder! Even when blending, just pat in circles. The main ingredient in this product (and most finishing powders) is Silica. And for those who don't know, Silica is strongly holographic so it possesses light reflecting properties... AKA it's a light reflective ingredient. So if you use too much and take a photo with flash, the flash is going to reflect off your face and make it look white. But that's ONLY if you use too much! HD finishing powders are meant to provide a finished soft and smooth look that are great on cameras and photography if you use it the right way! I personally like to use a kabuki brush with black bristles because they are not only great for applying this powder, but also great for determining if you are using too much! If you can see the powder on your brush, then you have too much. If you use the powder in this way, you shouldn't have any flashback problems but rather a flawless finished face!
