Bosch Professional 12V System GLI 12V-330 Cordless LED worklight (330 lumens, Operating time: 180 min/Ah, Without Battery/Charger)

For context, I am a DIYer with a preference for the professional range of tools. I run a Bosch 12V platform and a Milwaukee 18V platform. One reviewer gave a short but truly apt description to the effect that the guys and gals at Bosch had really put a lot of thought into this worklight. The Bosch team really took many things into consideration and addressed them well. Performance wise, the spectral balance of the light is just spot on, and colours are true. The brightness is amazing for something this small. I was initially looking for something with lots of LEDs to ensure I had the brightness I would have sought in a mains power worklight, but no need! The Bosch team simply picked the right LEDs. I have a second rechargeable multi-function torch (non professional) from LIDL which has been my trusted companion for such DIY work. I tried it next to this Bosch worklight and the difference was stark, with the Bosch on the winning side of that divide. I have some Bosch 12V Pro products so already had the batteries. I have done some pretty extended spells of 6 hours plus in the loft with the light on all the while and have not once run out of juice using a 2.0Ah battery. Features wise; well, here is where the thought that went into this product really shines through! I found I could mount this worklight pretty much anywhere with its clever base that is also magnetic. You always worry with magnetic mounting if you don't get that emphatic snap as it clicks into place, but clearly Team Bosch balanced the weight of the product against the magnetic force so it just seems to stay in place. I distributed a few small mounting hooks around the loft for greater versatility and mounting but didn't really need them all in the end because of the great tilt and turn available. The one thing against this product is the pricing. It does feel a tad over-priced for what it is, but having owned one now for a couple of weeks, I have to say any buyer's remorse there was to be had faded within the first hour of use. I can confidently say I would not hesitate getting another one! This is an impressive little product from Bosch that I am happy to recommend!

The light is bright and the magnet is handy for working under the car.

I've had one of these for 10 years, it's one of the most used items in my extensive tool box and it still works perfectly. I was once on site in an enormous plant room and my co-worker was about 20 feet off the ground clambering up the maze of steam pipes when he dropped this torch. It clanged on every 6" and 10" pipe on the way down before slamming onto the hard concrete floor. I walked over and picked it up. Apart from a very minor scuff it was in perfect working order and hadn't even turned off on impact. So as my eldest has bought her first house the other day, I bought another one of these torches (along with the excellent drill/ driver/ battery packet) knowing that she'll get many many years of useful life out of it. The lithium batteries are also holding up really well. It's not the cheapest thing in the world but I've used mine for hundreds of hours and it is reliable, dependable and useful. Top tip - I bought a 60" Amazon Basics tripod for less than 20 quid which turns this torch into a stand light. Super useful.

Very bright and durable worklight. This is very useful when working in the dark, lights up the whole room. Battery life is ok with 2.0mah lion battery. The magnetick base and clip are very useful when you need hands free. Overall its not too bulky and it s quality product. Price wise I think it should be cheaper considering you have to buy your own battery, but I suppose your paying for a quality product from a trusted name.

What a great find - no batteries or charger included but if you already use Bosch tools (12v/10.8v) then you're laughing. Extreme brightness, cool white colour LED's. Versatile product design features caribener clip, table stand, magnetic base & tripod screw thread all in one. Hinged body allows precise focus & simple, large power button which works well & is easily accessable, although position on front next to LED's can dazzle eyes on switch off. Charge lasts for hours on good/full battery & flashes 3 times to indicate 5 minutes remaining run-time. Brightness remains consistent right up to drained battery & lights up the room, although needs close positioning to workpiece for optimum performance. Used dozens of times in only a couple of weks with faultless performance. Seems very rugged & compact for such a worklight - wish I had this years ago. Can also recomend Bosch GAS cordless dust extractor (handheld hoover to you & me) which uses same batteries.

This innovative work light is great for giving you access to the work area. This enables you to work with both hands. There are several ways to adjust the position of the lamp, by means of a stand, magnets if there is a steel area to stick it on to and the stand doubles as a hanger. The hanger has a spring-loaded section down one edge. All in all, it is one of the most useful items in my tool tote and with the likelihood of Power Cuts just around Wintertime it will be most appreciated.

Good light 12v system but 3 aph not for 9 hours work maybe 3,4 hours

I already had a DeWalt LED work light, and so hesitated to buy this. Glad I did- much smaller, but just as bright. It does not stop there- the number of ways you can place it are amazing. It can stand, hook over a nail, magnetically attach, has a carabiner to hang from a rope or similar, and has a tripod mount threaded hole. Gives a flashing warning when battery is v low, and then powers off to protect the battery. A worthy part of the Bosch 12v professional range.

Ich heimwerke viel und habe zahlreiche Arbeitsleuchten (kabelgebunden und akkubetrieben) , um die Arbeitsfläche in ein besseres Licht zu rücken. Unter anderem nutze ich auch zwei der großen GLI 18V-2200C sowie zwei der günstigen GLI 12V-80. Daher kann ich nicht nur das Bosch Sortiment gut mit der vorliegenden GLI 12V-330 Leuchte vergleichen. Nach nun gut einem Jahr Nutzung ist es Zeit für ein Fazit und den Vergleich, den es am Ende der Rezension gibt. Die Vor-/Nachteile in der Zusammenfassung vorab: + solide Verarbeitung + ausreichende Helligkeit + gut gewählter Abstrahlwinkel + sehr gut einstellbarer Fuß + magnetischer Sockel + brauchbare Laufzeit + zwei Helligkeitsstufen + integrierter Karabiner O mit 4Ah Akku hält der Magnet nicht mehr sicher -Billig wirkender Schalter Die Bosch GLI 12V-330 im Detail: ------------------------------------------- Die GLI 330 ist mit 12 cm Länge (ohne Akku) sogar kompakter als das kleine 80er Pendant. Sie besitzt einen Alu Fuß, der über ein Gelenk mit dem Kunststoff Gehäuse verbunden ist. Im Gelenk sind Rastpunkte integriert, über die Der Fuß in acht unterschiedlichen Positionen sicher fixiert werden kann. Außerdem besitzt der Fuß eine Karabiner Funktion, mit der die Leuchte bspw. am Gürtel befestigt werden kann. Das ist sehr gut gelöst. Darüber hinaus hat Bosch zwei Magneten in den Fuß integriert, die die Leuchte an metallenen Oberflächen halten und selbst an ein Stativgewinde (1/4 Zoll) hat der Hersteller gedacht. Die zehn Einzel-LEDs der Leuchte sitzen hinter einer Plastikscheibe, die von einem Alurahmen eingefasst wird. Durch die vertiefte Position ist die LED-Einheit gut vor Beschädigungen geschützt. Die gesamte Materialanmutung der Leuchte wirkt ausgesprochen wertig. Sowohl die Kunststoffanteile als auch die Alukomponenten sind akkurat gearbeitet und haben eine solide Haptik. Nirgends findet sich ein Verarbeitungsfehler. So ist man es von Bosch blau gewohnt. Die Leuchte kann sowohl mit den kleinen 2Ah bis 3Ah Akkus als auch mit dem großen 4Ah Akkus betrieben werden. Das größere Gewicht des 4Ah Akkus führt jedoch dazu, dass der Magnet im Fuße der Leuchte diese gerade an glatten Oberflächen nicht mehr ausreichend halten kann. Dafür kann man die Leuchte durch den breiten Fuß dieser Akkus hochkant besser hinstellen. Über den Schalter lässt sich die Leuchte in zwei unterschiedlichen Helligkeitsstufen schalten. Die Leuchte startet immer mit voller Helligkeit und dimmt bei Gedrückthalten des Schalters auf ca. die halbe Leuchtstärke herab. Der Schalter ist leider das einzige Teil an der Leuchte, der den guten Qualitätseindruck nicht bestätigen kann. Er hat leichtes Spiel und wirkt deutlich billiger als das sonstige Gehäuse. Zumindest eine zusätzliche Gummierung wäre hier wünschenswert gewesen. Immerhin ist er groß genug, dass man ihn mit problemlos mit Handschuhen bedienen kann. Die Leuchtstärke der GLI 330 ist für die meisten Anwendungsfälle mehr als ausreichend, wenn man die Leuchte nicht zu weit vom Arbeitsbereich entfernt aufstellt. Der Abstrahlwinkel ist mit ca. 110 Grad ein guter Kompromiss aus Ausleuchtungsfläche und Helligkeitsbündelung. Wenn es größere Flächen zu beleuchten gibt, muss man auf die GLI 18V-2200 ausweichen, die deutlich mehr Leistung auf einer größeren Fläche verteilen kann. Die Lichtfarbe ist recht kühl gewählt, was für Arbeitsbereiche durchaus gut ist, denn so wird der Kontrast von Gegenständen erhöht. Dank der zahlreichen Befestigungsmöglichkeiten lässt sich der Lichtkegel der Lampe wirklich perfekt auf die zu beleuchtende Fläche ausrichten. In diesem Punkt ist die GLI 330 die universellste Leuchte aus dem Bosch Portfolio und für so gut wie jeden Arbeitsbereich einsetzbar. Ausnahme bilden feuchte Arbeitsbedingungen, denn eine IP-Zertifizierung hat die Leuchte nicht. Nur die große 2200 ist wasserdicht. Die Laufzeit der Lampe ist mehr als ausreichend. Mit den normalen 2Ah Akkus kommt man auf ca. 5,5 Stunden Betriebsdauer. Mit dem 4 Ah Akku kommt man logischer Weise auf die doppelte Zeit. Das gleiche gilt bei der Reduzierung der Leuchtstärke. Auch hier wird die Leuchtdauer knapp verdoppelt. Im Betrieb erwärmt sich die Leuchte nur moderat, eine Überhitzung droht selbst auf der hohen Stufe nicht. Fazit: ------- Die GLI 12V-330 ist eine sehr gute Arbeitsleuchte. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut und Bosch hat viele praktische Details in Form verschiedenster Aufstellmöglichkeiten integriert. Die Lichtleistung von 330 Lumen ist für viele Anwendungsfälle ausreichend, wenn man keine allzu große Fläche auszuleuchten hat. Oft reicht es sogar mit reduzierter Lichtleisung zu arbeiten. Zu kritisieren habe ich an der Leuchte nur den Schalter, der deutlich billiger wirkt als der Rest des Gehäuses. Er arbeitet aber bisher problemlos. Da ich die GLI 12V-330 in meinem Werkzeugarsenal nicht mehr missen möchte und sie oft zum Einsatz kommt, vergebe ich die volle Sternenzahl. Ich kann die Leuchte bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Vergleich: ------------- Die GLI 330 ist für mich die universellste der Bosch Arbeitsleuchten. Sie ist kompakt, kann mit zahlreichen Aufstell- und Befestigungsmöglichkeiten punkten und bringt für die meisten Anwendungsfälle genug Lichtstärke mit. Die kleinere Bosch GLI 12V-80 ist eher als Taschenlampe geeignet, die meistens eine Hand bindet. Ein Nachteil in der Praxis. Die größere GLI 18C-2200 ist eher ein Bau-/Flächenstrahler und recht sperrig im Format. Sie ist allerdings wasserdicht und die Lichtstärke ist immens. Daher ist sie eine gute Ergänzung zur GLI 330 bei größeren Projekten. Ich würde auf keine der beiden Leuchten (330 & 2200) verzichten wollen. Die kleinere GLI 80 würde ich nur zur Ergänzung kaufen, wenn man keine gute Taschenlampe hat und selbst dann würde ich auf die immer wiederkehrenden Angebote für die GLI 80 warten.

Arrivata nei tempi con un'imballaggio consono al prodotto. All'interno del pacco amazon c'era la pila all'interno della sua confezione originale sigillata e ben protetta e con le istruzioni. Si é adattata perfettamente alla batteria da 12v (non in dotazione) che avevo già in uso su altri prodotti Bosch. La luce é sufficiente se proiettata in una stanza, potentissima se la si usa per illuminare una zona di lavoro "nel dettaglio", che secondo me é lo scopo principale di questo prodotto date le dimensioni tutto sommato ridotte che gli conferiscono la possibilità di infilarsi in zone a spazio limitato. Ha due livelli di luminosità che si selezionano tenendo premuto il tasto di accensione, quando la luce resta sul modo di illuminazione meno intenso significa che la batteria ha una durata limitata, comunque garantisce una ottima durata a livello max. Il prodotto é ottimamente rifinito robusto e di qualità. Estremamente versatile ha un sistema di ancoraggio un sistema a moschetto che fa anche da piedistallo orientabile e una potente calamita.
