JML Pedi Pro Deluxe  For the record, to say I was skeptical about this product from JML would be an understatement. My mother first mentioned seeing an advert, and my opinion was that it was the usual promise the world, deliver nothing ... A view that is echoed in a number of previous reviews.So, who am I writing this review? Up late at night, the TV switched to a Shopping channel where this item was being featured, and it drew my attention. A quick search on Amazon delivered product details, and, for the price, I took a punt.As usual, the Amazon experience was flawless with delivery next day - Unpacking, the first thing that you notice is a quality, almost solid finish. My only comment would be that JML could have included the 4 AA batteries required, but, that aside, once the hygiene seal is removed, batteries inserted, the unit is quite powerful.In use, I'd suggest that you use the bathroom, as exfoliation can be quite dusty. Using is quite easy, start off at the first setting which is half speed, switching to full once you are comfortable. A number of reviewers have commented that performance is disappointing - I have found that the key is not to press too hard onto the foot, which will cause the disc and motor to stop - Once satisfied with the results, switch to the buffing pad and buff away. The results are amazing!To summarise, the best £19.99 I've spent in a long while, only let down by its lack of batteries. It's so good that I've ordered a unit for my Mum.

This is a fantastic little gadget, I walk about an hour every day and dont wear the most sensible shoes so have quite hard skin on my feet and calluses. I was at first reluctant to spend £20 on this but saw some good reviews and decided to splash out. I really dont understand the negative reviews, I can only think that there are people out there with more unfortunate feet than myself (and mine aren't pretty). I have used the cheapest batteries I could find and still after about 30 mins I now have baby soft skin on my tootsies. Well worth the money and a great product. The only bad point is the amount of dust the buffer creates, who knew my trotters were so dusty?

Unit did not work unless constant pressure was applied to one side of the internal battery cover.Once the top of the item was fitted, that was not possible and therefore it stopped working.Batteries were also a very tight fit. Returned as defective.Also, the box was not sealed and appeared to have been opened. A buffing disc was fitted to the unit where, according to the instructions, the steel blade should have been fitted when new.I have bought a replacement from a local supermarket. Although this was slightly dearer, it was in a sealed new style box.No problem fitting the batteries or the cover and it had the steel blade fitted at new. Worked as expected.I had seen some reports that this item stops working when pressure is applied. It does not need a lot of pressure to work correctly and I had no problem with mine. Although I used normal Duracell AA batteries. I think either Duracell Plus (or similar quality) or rechargeable batteries may work better and I will try this later on.Don't try to remove too much at once either. It's best to use it regularly, say weekly, than to try to remove a lot in one go. Also be aware that the buffer disc may produce a small cloud of "dust", as this has no shaving tray.

This product is alright but you have to be careful when using it, it takes of the hard skin very quick, get use to to it first as it can soon make your foot sore, use very light pressure.

My wife has some hard skin on her feet and wanted something to deal with it.I searched long and hard at many of the machines listed and read all the reviews.It was very difficult to decide which ones seemed to work and which ones were going to be a waste of money.However she decided on the JML Pedi Pro De Luxe and we waited with interest for it to arrive.Having now used it two or three times my wife thinks it great !Some people complained that it wasn't powerful enough and came to a standstill when you applied pressure on it.Well I can only think that that they have skin like a walrus or were impatient to get it done in one go.Yes - it does slow down and stop if applied too hard onto your foot. This is a safety feature to stop you damaging your foot !The trick is to give your feet a good wash and then make sure they are completey dry. Use the machine gently to take off the outer layers of hard skin, you can use it as long as you like - just don't make your feet sore !Afterwards use a good neutral moisturiser like Diprobase. Leave it for 2-3 days and repeat the process until you have lovely soft skin.If you're too impatient to take the time to do this, then buy a razor and cut it off in one go !!

OMG! It actually works!!!. I was sceptical initially because i had used to many products that NEVER WORKED. But since i had this problem, i was willing to try anything and thank God i did, because this product actually works, which is SIMPLY BRILLIANT!!!.As a guy, I tell you I 'HAD' SERIOUS CALLUS PROBLEM. Since i started using "PEDI PRO DELUXE" i am watching my CALLUS DISAPPEAR. You won't get it all off at once, but with PATIENCE and REGULAR USE, you will get there.To top it up, the product arrived 7 days before the estimated time. I am SO HAPPY with the result that i will be wearing FLIP FLOPS or SANDAL this summer. I will recommend to any one with cracked and dry feet. THANK YOU "PEDI PRO DELUXE".

Not really effective..waste of money

It was everything she thought it would be. Her sister has one and she had to have one. The quality is very good and from what she tells me she is more than satisfied. Our order was shipped on time and arrived in excellent condition.

I like it definitely worth the price. I just gave 4 starts only because not that strong as I was expect it.But very cute and pretty, easy to use could be a great gift to anyone!Go for it.
