Disclaimer: I didn't actually use this for a chalkboard. I bought it to cover some perspex to make it light-proof. Easy to use, easy to apply. Very sticky, adheres well but glue residue WILL be left behind if you apply it in the wrong position. The backing paper is printed with 1cm squares for ease of cutting. Apply small bits at a time and ease out any bubbles with a flat edge (ruler). BE AWARE: because this is a roll, when it is all laid out completely flat, there will be some slight creasing and bubbling towards the middle of the roll. This should not affect the application if done with care.

Delighted, so easy to apply onto the wall! If you do it slowly, and unroll it andput a book on it to flatten it out before hand as it comes rolled up, When applying the air bubbles are easy to push out using your finger or Palm and I put it up by myself. I cut mine in half and put the two strips next to each other to make a big chalk board, It works super well! It is great that it comes with chalk too but I bought more as they won’t last long due to my child loving it!

Great product to go the wall, easy to place and air bubbles are easy to smooth out when applying. I did this all by hand so no need for other tools. I wasn't too fussed but if you are I did place it on a painted wall and it took some of the paint off when I had to readjust the positioning. This will ideally be in place for a while so again if you only want it to be temporary and not have to repaint your wall I would probably re think your choice. Overall really good, easy to cut and shape and chalk wipes off well with a damp cloth.

Easy to use. Durable. Great value. Black Chalk board in a sticky back plastic format without the scratchy texture of a chalk board. Chalk and Chalk pens can be used on it. Re- useable - wipes clean. Good tackiness for sticking to walls.

We have used this for the girls train track so I can draw on it. It’s a good product but messes up easily if you don’t get it accurate... air bubbles come up easy if you haven’t had much practice. I messed up and wasted some. I think it’s ok if you don’t want something permanent!

Nice writable surface for use as a proper chalk-board. However don't bother with the chalk that comes wrapped up inside the cardboard tube that the adhesive chalk-board comes wrapped round, the chalk is like a crisp clay stick and fractures/breaks at the slightest pressure on it in use. Go and buy some proper chalk. Otherwise very good.
