What is battery life like?

Does this keyboard have the backslash / pipe key between the left shift and z keys? Product image says no but the same model I have at work does!

Yes, mine does. But on the downside, the split spacerbar doesn't split..

Will this work with Surface Pro 3?

Yes, as long as you've got bluetooth on your machine it will work. I've paired it with iMac's and PC's. It's a cert if you are using a Microsoft machine like Surface.
