Q: Is that E.T when the glass is upside down?

No and glass is crap , you can't even drink out of it

Q: Can you use the glass for hot drinks or is it only suitable for cold drinks?

I don't think it is Pyrex, so I wouldn't use it for hot drinks. The glass is quite thin and I'd guess it could shatter.

Q: is this made of thick glass? looks very fragile.

It's not the thickest glass but it's not a bad quality either.I would reccomend to be careful with it as i would consider it as a day to day use glass.
