While VGA - HDMI is not one of those typical & easy connections, this cable fully delivers its promises. Plugging in takes seconds, signal is recognised and properly sent and the image quality couldn't be better. I've checked it on desktop PC connected to a VGA monitor on 1080p and had no issues at all. The build is basic, so no braid or fancy details, but the cable thickness doesn't look bad: 4,7mm is a decent width promising no issues with shielding. Conclusion: basic wire for everyone connecting HDMI PC/laptop/etc. with VGA monitor/TV/projector/etc. Full image quality with no compromises, decent mechanical durablity and all of the above for just a little above £10. Clear winner in budget category.

This is a great accessory as it has enabled me to use my older projector which only had the VGA connection whilst my laptop only had HDMI ports.

Amazon yet again have delivered, I received these on the same day as I ordered, delivery was by prime and as always very efficient. To the product:- Reason for purchase - Having bought a new monitor the only available output from the graphics card is the HDMI. The product comes in a retail bag, its also hassle free packaging so no need for scissors. It contains:- 1 x Male Mini Display port to female VGA The product feels and looks great. The plugs and feel of the cable are high quality and feel great. The thickness of the cable is just about right, not too thin to lack rigidity, not too thick that you cant bend it. The display port plug is gold plated which helps the conductivity reducing the 'noise' \ errors. The VGA side is a normal connector with pins for screwing the cable in. Once placed in the graphics card built in clip secures the display port cable in place without any movement. As all cables now transmit data digitally to the monitors / TV's don't fall for the old HDMI trick of more expensive means better. The only area that the cables truly differ is the plug end quality and this cable has it all. Didn't belive that this would work at first, but gave it a shot and works fine without any loss or degradtion in quality. I've now split my Virgin TIVO HDMI into both my main TV and also an old PC monitor that has dual DVI and VGA input, obviously used the VGA input as the DVI is currenlty used for my PC. What this has enabled me to do is watch TV whilst working on one of my other PC monitors, almost at the same time !!!

Didn't work for what I needed but not necessarily the fault of the product.

Worked well at a venue to connect my laptop to an A/V system to share photos. Also allows me to connect modern PCs to a large old monitor screen that has VGA.

Product worked fine for 5 months then my monitor started to randomly turn black for a second before picture would return. This has steadily gotten worse to the point that the cable no longer works at all. Check monitor with another cable and it's not the monitor that is faulty. 6 months lifespan for a cable is really pathetic.

Works perfectly! Goes from the hdmi port on my graphics card to the vga port on my monitor. No sound however I always use headphones so no problem there. Beware of the cheap hdmi to vga cables on here as they’re fake and do not work. This is probably the cheapest you will find in terms of simplicity and effectiveness!

Der Artikel wurde zügig geliefert und entspricht der Beschreibung. Die Qualität des Kabels ist gut und einwandfrei mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen.

Prodotto arrivato secondo programma, in ottime condizioni. Ho usato questo prodotto per collegare il segnale HDMI uscente da un moderno laptop win10, usato come PC fisso, col segnale VGA entrante in un rFull HD monitor HP, resolution 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz. Il egnale è quindi unidirezionale: HDMI --> VGA. Problema numero1: identificare "il sesso" delle 2 connessioni input --> output. - lato laptop c'è una connessione HDMI femmina, quindi occorreva una connessione maschio sul cavo HDMI. - lato monitor la connessione VGA è sul retro, in posizione verticale poco accessibile, identificata comunque come femmina. Problema numero 2: le suddette caratteristiche non è facile identificarle nei diversi cavi analoghi pubblicizzati su Amazon, dove spesso foto e descrizione testuale non corrispondono. Il montaggio del cavo è stato abbastanza semplice, e per ora tutto funziona perfettamente. Nel complesso, visto anche il buon rapporto prezzo/qualità del prodotto (circa 12 Euro), ne consiglio l'acquisto.

Habe das Kabel benötigt um einen Uraltbeamer von Philips mit meinen neuen Medion Laptop zu verbinden. Bei der Bildqualität ein Stern Abzug, da ich nur mit diesem Kabel beim unteren Bildrand permanent einen horizontalen Balken sehe der auch allen Einstellversuchen am Beamer tapfer trotzte. Da es schnell und ordentlich verpackt kam und es sowieso ein Uraltbeamer ist, dennoch gute Bewertung da es zum Film schauen auf der Terrasse auf jeden Fall reicht. Toll dass es so ein Kabel Überhaupt gibt.
