Arrived perfectly packaged. Smelt of...wait for it...yep...salmon!!! Actually made me quite hungry!! 🤣😂🤣 There was definitely no rancid smell, they are VERY easy to swallow even though large and I think this is a VERY good price for what I know and trust is going to be a quality supplement. I haven’t used these before but I’m very hopeful they will be of some advantage in my life of dealing with M.E and Fibromyalgia. They are probably something I should have been taking for years! Doh! 🤦‍♀️ x

i think these are good quality , i have developed slight arthritis in my little finger and have noticed it is less swollen and sore , don't know if there is a link but i am not taking anything else new, it does seem to make my nails grow at tremendous speed too wish it would do the same for my hair ….!

Value for money and quality product

This particular brand were recommended by a friend for high quality and effectiveness in reducing some menopausal symptoms. I have found that they do help.

I buy these on subscribe and save as Solgar is a trustworthy brand, it is wild fish oil, a good amount with no fishy taste or aftertaste. However, on occasion one capsule at the bottom of the jar is found to have exploded causing a rancid fish aroma which gets increasingly worse over time. This morning I almost vomited trying to swallow them and can no longer ingest them. I contacted Amazon who have been really helpful in rectifying this. I am buying again

My absolute favourite brand when it comes to vitamins and minerals. Pharmacutical quality products by a brand which was established in 1947. Very high vitamin and mineral content in every product. Free from additives such as yeast, gluten, dairy, wheat, sugar, salt and starch. Also kosher, halal and vegetarian if this one is important for you. Highly recommended. The salmon used in Solgar's wild Alaskan salmon oil is wild sockeye, chum, chinook, coho, and pink salmon. The only brand I've found that is comparable is Vital Choice's pure Sockeye Salmon Oil. They are extremely similar in oil color vibrancy (both are very pure and so contain very high amounts of astaxanthin, which gives salmon that gorgeous red hue). I have also taken New Chapter's Wholemega, which is quite pale in color and very overpriced (I have no idea what kind of salmon they use as they don't say). I recently tried out Barlean's Wild and Whole salmon oil and it is very high quality with a whopping 500mcg of astaxanthin added in...but it is TWICE the price of Solgar per serving. Ouch. They are all full spectrum oils, however Solgar's is a bit more potent, a much better price, I know what kinds of salmon they use, and I also like that Solgar's labeling is very detailed on the exact omegas you are getting. As a large softgel at 1,200mg, you'd think they would be hard to swallow, but no. They slip down no problem at all, surprisingly, with no weird burping issues that you might get from low-quality or highly-distilled oils. I can even take two at a time and no issues. And there is no need for annoying lemon or orange "natural" flavorings as in other fish oils. This wild salmon oil is just that...wild salmon oil, no need for disguises! Ideally, you really need a full, natural spectrum or profile of omegas that are in most fish; omega 5,6,7 and 9, plus DPA . I want a product that is as close to that as I can get, one step away from just eating the fish itself. With Solgar's wild salmon, you’ve got it all in one product. Now, for people who need theraputic levels of EPA and DHA, a concentrated product would be best. Bottom line: great brand, works beautifully, reasonable price, fresh and smells nice...if you like the smell of fresh salmon!
