The quality of this Greek wild oregano oil from Zane Hellas Med is excellent. Good luck if you find a better product or purchase price online. My oregano oil arrived quickly from Greece, with an excellent p&p price. It contained a certificate of quality, with info regarding its high carvacrol levels (this relates to its antibiotic properties) which provide defence against bacteria, fungus, viruses and parasites. Also enclosed are instructions about the benefits/usage of oregano oil. It is very potent stuff - you only need a drop in water/ or mix with olive oil if you purchase the undiluted oregano oil. Zane Hellas also sell oregano oil premixed with Greek olive oil, in various clearly marked ratios on each bottle to suit individual need, at great value for money when you compare it with similar products online (some of which are ok, but incredibly over priced e.g. North American Herb & Spice P73 / 13.5 ml bottle). Also, unlike Zane Hellas, most sellers don't sell the undiluted oil/ and don't give the buyer info relating to the ratio of oregano oil and olive oil in their product. I have bought many different brands of oregano oil over the past few years for my asthmatic condition/frequent infection rate, and this brand is first class. It is safe to use, even for children, with none of the negative side effects compared to prescription drugs. You can also put a few drops of oregano oil mixed with olive oil in empty gel caps (I do this for my teenager). For infection or to reduce a fever, rub some oregano oil mixed with olive oil on the soles of the feet (especially good for children or anyone who may not like the taste of oregano oil). I would fully recommend this product for its health benefits, particularly if you have any type of chronic health condition. It contains vitamins A,C, E, B6, K, as well as iron, magnesium, calcium and potassium, it contains rosmarinic acid, a powerful antioxidant and it's essential oils are anti inflammatory and anti microbial. For example, one UK lab test (2001) found it was effective against 25 different bacteria. There is anecdotal evidence that it is helpful for psoriasis and eczema. This oil was bought as an addition to our healthy lifestyle. We are advocates of natural health, healing and nutrition and all things related and personally love to explore natural remedies in order to improve our personal life and find ways in which to replace the use of commercial products, not only because of the toxins in them but also to encourage the individual that natural is the best way to go, considering the current climate of excessive additives and chemicals. We also believe that we have the key to our own healing without spending tons of money on pre made commercial products. We discovered this extra ingredient that would boost our oil pulling mix and hand made toothpaste (which we have personally been using for many years) and could be used to improve oral health and hygiene. After reading all the positive reviews I ordered a bottle of this, and was as pleased as everyone else. I think this is the best quality wild Greek oregano oil that can be obtained online. And because it's wild (in hopefully as clean an environment as one can expect these days), it could also be considered organic - very important to those of us who really care about limiting our toxin exposure as much as we can. It was also fantastic value for money - coming in considerably cheaper than the equivalent 'super strength wild mediterranean oregano oil' of a branded name. I also received the free packet of dried oregano with my bottle that many others have; it smells lovely and potent and I'm looking forward to using it in my cooking. It is incredible just how much oregano goes into making the oil in one of these bottles, and this results in an amazingly high strength oil. I'm really impressed with the oil, its price and the very customer centred focus of Zane Hellas who also provide clear instructions to go with the oil. I'm using it mainly in sinus rinses. Having had perennial rhinitis for 23 years (like having a cold every day!), and the associated sinus issues, I have tried many alternatives over the years (in conjunction with addressing other serious health issues). Having used oregano oil in the past as part of a whole anti fungal regime, I thought I'd try it again, but this time in sinus rinses to try and get to the root of any fungal infection in my sinuses. It has slightly improved symptoms, but unfortunately not cured it! However, regular sinus rinses (just using 1-2 drops in the rinse because of the high strength) completely minimised the symptoms of a recent cold on top of the normal rhinitis, and the cold was gone within 1.5 days, just leaving me with my normal symptoms. If there's anyone out there reading this who has had long standing perennial rhinitis like myself and has managed to cure it, I'd really appreciate a comment on how you achieved this. Thank you!

My reason for purchasing this was to help with candida symptoms. From time to time, I get such ridiculous sugar cravings and bloating, foggy brain, tiredness etc, so I thought candida might be the culprit. This oil is potent, it is so strong and very effective. I have only taken it a few times because it is so potent and definitely noticed that the bloating has gone down. Sugar cravings seem a little improved but I guess that needs more time. It has also managed to keep my safe from the customary flu / cold so far. I did some reading and learned that it is good for boosting the immune system. Based on the above, I recommend this oil. It did take a while to get to me, but it was totally worth the wait.

Switched to this brand of oregano oil and can smell the difference between this one and the old one that I used. This one has a very pleasant 'herby' smell. Smells just like pizza sauce. It comes with a detailed instruction/information leaflet and also a certificate of analysis so you know what your getting is the real deal and of great quality. I use it internally as I'ts been proven to have strong antimicrobial activity and have noticed a relief in my symptoms. Please be carefull though as this stuff is potent and will burn If your new to it or don't use it correctly so start off with a small dose and work your way up.

I've been suffering from eczema since I was 4 and up until about 2 years ago was on all sorts of prescription topical steroids and antibiotics. However, over time I learned about the negative side affects and the long term damage that can be caused by these forms of western medicine, so with that in mind I went cold turkey. Be sure to order it along with a good quality cream or oil to dilute it in. I've also started using it to give a boost to my organic toothpaste - it'll blow your socks off further than colgate ever could. Your breath will be fresh and your gums will be healthy through clean natural means. And I also intend on doing a parasite cleanse with it, after all it is a versatile healing oil. I initially started off with just the one bottle, but I'm back to order at least 3 more. Be sure to add this to your daily routine and medicine cabinet as I'm pretty convinced it is the secret to vitality. Truly one of natures greatest gifts. Update: I contacted the supplier Zane Hellas who promptly refunded my purchase price with excellent customer service. I will try the product again now knowing the supplier supports their warranty on it. Have been purchasing this product for over 15 years from other suppliers. First time purchase on Amazon of this and it is not the same product as I have previously used. It is very weak, barely any actual active oregano present and almost no taste from it. the original product was so powerful that it had to be diluted at least 20:1 in a carrier oil to be tolerable. this product can be applied straight to the skin or mouth with virtually no sensation, taste or smell. Cannot recommend this now to anyone.

Really impressive product, I had been using Oregano Oil as a coadjuvant to treat my dog's bladder cancer with good results (mixed with Boswellia Sacra and sometimes Boswellia Carterii) and, since then, I've found it greatly useful to treat a wide range of problems: candidiasis, SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth), tooth aches, gum problems, oral canker sores (very diluted), abdominal bloating, difficult respiratory infections (mixed with Manuka honey), etc... It's also very effective relieving cough symptoms when nothing else has worked, my grandmother told me this tip: dilute 2 drops of oregano oil with a spoonful of honey, mix it with hot milk and take it in short sips (stir it frequently), then put half an onion (recently cut) near you, on your beside table, it works!. I spent all my childhood with asthma problems, and frequent cough attacks, and this old formula helped me more than medication. I used to use p73 oregano, because the first time I was in a hurry and I didn't have much time to research, but it's a lot more expensive and I now think that it hasn't the same quality as Zane's has. This one is definitely, more concentrated, take it into consideration because you really need to dilute it if you have to apply it to the oral mucosa, for example (I think that a 30mL bottle will last a lot). It comes with a certified analysis of the batch and two different accessories to use it. I really like the quality of Greek products, another one is Mastic gum, a tree resin that can be only found there, in a little island; it's a magic bullet to fight stomach problems (specially gastritis and ulcers) with or without Helycobacter infection. Usually I use Mastic and Oregano for gastric ulcers (very diluted with extra virgin olive oil, you can take it more concentrated later on, but be careful the first times). It has strong antibiotic and antifungal activity, so I advise you to use some probiotics if you need to take oregano for some time. Usually it works fast, and it's not needed, but if the treatment lasts more than a week, I believe that's a good idea. Because of this, you also need to be aware of the possible symptoms of a die-off, that occur mostly when you have a really bad Candida yeast infestation (not so much with bacteria) and you take something strong to kill it; in this case, the dead cells release all its toxins into the intestines and, later on, it's absorbed into the blood (unless you take something that binds to it, in order to be expelled, like chlorella or modified citrus pectin), and you can feel symptoms similar to a mild flu with abdominal gas. If so, space out the doses until you don't feel sick and maybe speak with someone well versed in naturopathy.
