I find it really comfortable. Slept well and ive a bad spine with surgical rods and daily pain.
5 star! 2026 and using it as we've guests. SO COMFY, better for me than my 5k mattress. Just needs a wee inflate daily super easy self inflating motor (im on it for 4 nights) but I love it. Just 1 person on it so cant comment about 2 persons. May need bigger. I already had a spare topper but I think its fine without. Pump loud but efficient. Good firmness and super great for occasional guest as folds away. Self deflates through the pump.

House move plus more!
We bought the 5’ for our house move to use on the first couple of nights before our removal men arrived. We then used it as a bed base under our 6’ mattress for a week as our divan base wouldn’t fit up the stairs..! Absolutely delighted with it. Very comfortable too. Noisy when inflating but it’s only for a few minutes. It’s not noisy to lay on or when moving in your sleep. Will be used in future for an emergency bed (like the emergency chairs at Xmas!)

Bought to replace an inflatable bed I keep in the car - not because I like to sleep rough, but because I frequently visit distant (geographically speaking) friends for parties where an overnight stay is necessary and beds can be scarce.Whilst taking up more space in the boot, it is strides ahead in every other area. I don't need a separate pump as it has one inside it. It literally inflates full in under 2 minutes. It is much bigger than my old one and way more comfortable. Because it has compartments inside that inflate, there is no 'rolling' or squishing of the air inside. It seems just as solid as any 'put-up' that I've ever used.I've used it a few times over the festive period, and it has been great. It's very easy to use, and takes about 10 minutes to deflate and pack away back into the box. Just a sleeping bag and a pillow are needed for a very comfortable night's sleep. The 'head' is raised slightly, but I would recommend a pillow for comfort.I would imagine that this would be great for camping too.

As flawless as it can be - 5 stars are not enough
As my parents were coming to visit me in my small flat, I had to find a solution to avoid sleeping on the way-too-small couch.I read some of the reviews on Amazon and was convinced to go for the Body Source air bed, even if there were definitely cheaper options. After all, it's not something you purchase every day. I was surprised at how small the box was and slightly suspicious. Even if the reviews were glowing I thought that an air bed would never be as comfortable as a proper bed - I definitely shouldn't have worried. It is as good as a proper bed, if not better. As soon as my parents arrived, I got ready for the night, plugged in the cord and turned on the pump. Mind you, it is rather noisy so if you want to avoid annoying your neighbours probably better to inflate the bed before 10 pm. Inflating the bed is quick and painless but to be honest I always turned the pump off before the auto-shutdown because I thought it was inflated enough. Fitting the sheet was a bit of a problem - the bed is too high to fit the sheet at the bottom so you have to fit it halfway. I thought it would move during the night but it definitely didn't - another plus. The included pillow was a bit too shallow for my taste so I used a regular pillow but probably you can sleep well even without it - a matter of taste, I guess. When you lay first on the bed you have to get used to a bit of noise as the bed adapts to your shape but then you're good to go. I was afraid that the bed would deflate a bit during the night as I weigh over 200 lbs but it didn't. I had a perfectly good night of undisturbed sleep - when my parents left and I went back to my regular bed I had to adapt to the mattress and I sort of miss my air bed.As far as I'm concerned, this product is perfect and I would wholeheartedly advise everyone who needs a temporary bed to buy it. Only minor issue is that it's not easy to find the proper way of folding it to make sure it fits in the original box but once you learn how to do it, you're good to go.Doesn't happen often but I wish I had more than 5 stars to give - it's THAT good.

Very impressed! (at first) But not any more - now zero stars!
EDIT 5 months on...Below you'll find my original review. I now do not recommend this air bed!It has punctured for no reason with a small tear along one of the seams on the flock top surface. I now realise that the top layer is extremely thin and so very vulnerable to tearing for no reason. The bed has never been deflated & folded in the 5 months I've had it. It has always had a thick topper and sheet on top of it and no sharp objects have been anywhere near it. Yet the PVC has torn at the seam, producing a 3mm long slit. The repair patches provided are useless on the flock top (of course) so I had to repair with a heavy duty patch and glue.Unfortunately the patching is problematic due to the nature of the seam and the flock surface, so I've had to re-patch a couple of weeks later. So this bed has a severe weakness in the thinness of the PVC at the seams which will eventually causes tearing that cannot be repaired properly.I'm now looking at folding beds instead as this bed will need throwing out.Don't buy unless it's for a very brief period use.------------------------Original review:I purchased this to replace an air bed that I’ve had for years and years which just got too tired and kept deflating overnight. Here I’ll try to answer some questions you may have and express my opinion of this air bed.It arrives in a stout cardboard box with dimensions 17cm x 30cm x 40cm – which of course you will never ever get the bed back into. Nor should you try. The bed is specially and carefully packed in the factory in China to fit in this box. If you try to fold the deflated bed back to these original dimensions you may damage it. So you have to accept that storage requirements will be quite a bit larger than the box it came in. Incidentally a bag for storage is not supplied.Mine came with 3 self-adhesive patches in case of punctures – really not sure they would be strong enough to fix a puncture permanently but I hope I’m wrong. So – bed unfolded onto the floor – open the hatch and extract the uk plug (plastic earth pin) – plug in to a handy socket and turn the large dial one step clockwise to start self inflating.Time roughly 1 minute and 30 seconds and you have the extraordinary sight of a large single bed develop in front of your eyes. The dimensions are 187cm long 99cm wide 43cm high for the most part of the bed and the ‘pillow’ region makes the height up to 53cm at the head end. If it is of interest, the cable and fan control panel is at the foot end of the bed, as is the nozzle for inflation by other means if desired. In the box you get instructions in several languages and a leaflet explaining that PVC expands and that you should allow for an apparent deflation over the first few days of use. This brings me to the PVC smell. This bed stinks of PVC for a few days. Those that say it doesn’t have no sense of smell! The smell will go away over time but was very strong on first use. Just when you think it’s possibly gone, you pass by the room it’s in and you get the strong whiff again! There is no getting round that, it’s PVC and that smells! The instructions are correct – this bed ‘deflates’ overnight on night 1 quite dramatically – you really would think there was a leak. But perseverance will show that this ‘deflation’ is the PVC expanding and coping with the real world with a weight lying on top of it!At this point I’ll will say I weigh 10 stone 10 pounds – so not exactly stressing the weight carrying ability! So night 2 comes and if, like me, you've left it up, you have to top up the inflation before bedding down. You have no time reference this time so just let it go until it feels right (30 seconds or so in my case) . Night 2 will be much better as far as apparent ‘deflation’ and a smaller amount of top-up required.Come night 3 and you barely have to top up at all! You’ll find that top-ups of air are minimal from night 4 onwards and the PVC smell has gone! As I’m using this bed for the foreseeable, due to Corona Virus issues, that is pretty important to me.This brings me to comfort, a couple of issues, I will explain…The ‘pillow’ is hard and quite uncomfortable to rest my head on. I use a nice soft conventional pillow over this but I find it makes it little too high for my comfort. Really wish the built in ‘pillow’ wasn’t there but it is and I thought it wouldn’t be an issue. I guess I’ll have to get used to it.Then there’s the noise! This bed makes quite a bit of noise as I move. As I understand it, there are tubes in the interior as part of the structure. Well what ever it is, you certainly feel that there are internal things shifting about, particularly when you get off it! My goodness, listen to it pop popping as it’s internals shift about! I can’t necessarily say that these noises wake me up as I shift, but I am aware that I’m more wakeful in the night so far than on an ordinary mattress. Those asking about cats near these beds – forget it! Their claws will puncture this bed, as will any sharp object! If you want to take this camping, you will need a source of mains power supply or use the air intake nozzle via a suitable pump. The bed is water proof, obviously since it’s supposed to be air proof! But I’d be very careful about water near the electrical panel if using some source of mains supply whilst out and about! The flock top is a nice feature, but I would always cover it with a sheet of some sort. I just use a single, non-fitted sheet and it hangs over the sides, held in place a little by the flock finish. A fitted single sheet fit’s well and hugs the upper half of the bed.Overall I’m pleased with my purchase. The noises it makes, particularly when getting off it, makes it lose a star, but I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a handy bed that requires minimal storage when not in use.

Delighted so far :-)
Arrived on the day it was due and sent from UK to France so am very happy as unable to purchase anything that seems as good or has as good reviews or is as reasonably priced here. Set it up to test a few days ago and as per the instructions the in-built electric pump works well, I used it with a continental adaptor here in France. It takes about 3 mins as described. Very comfortable, it has been up for 4 days now and it does lose a bit of air overnight, especially if it is cold and it is a bit chilly here at the moment and we have a tiled floor, but easy to inflate a bit before use again. So far very happy, haven't used it for camping yet, so my post further when I have tried this, but won't be until next summer! (So much better already than one my other half paid £40 for in Decathlon last summer, which is a small double and ridged across and much thinner - it really was the most rubbishy and uncomfortable thing giving me dreadful backache - we ended up using an old air mattress that deflates on top and still horrid). I am now very much looking forward to camping next year and using this new, comfortable air bed with my new Snugpak 5 sleeping bag. I hope it fits in my tent - should do the small double has loads of extra room around it (3 man sleeping compartment) and the tent is tall enough to stand up in so no problem with the height of this. It is also going to be super useful for guests, we have a spare bedroom at present, but this may change, so we didn't want to purchase another bed and have no where to put it - this will solve the problem perfectly. So far so good - would recommend.

Absolutely brilliant!
Update - My original review is below but I have to update - just ordered my third one! The first one lasted quite a long time and got quite a lot of use but eventually started to leak. So I bought another one. That one only got used a couple of times before it leaked. Apparently there is supposed to be a puncture repair kit in the box but I don't think there was one in my box. Meanwhile I bought a zedbed. But as it happens have a situation where I need more than one spare bed at short notice and the only thing I could get next day delivery was another one of these. So fingers crossed this one lasts a lot longer than the second one! I also ordered a puncture repair kit at the same time and will attempt to repair the first two. Because when it works it is very comfortable and convenient. Whereas the zedbed is a bit low.Best purchase I have made for ages. This is way better than those crackly beds at floor level you need to inflate with a footpump, This has a little comparment at one end, housing a cable with a 3 pin plug on it. You plug it in and turn the knob to "inflate" and it blows it up in about 2 or 3 minutes. Sounds like a vaccuum cleaner. It's quite firm but very comfortable. And it's the same height as a standard single bed. Important when my knees are so bad I can't kneel down and get up again.I am waiting for a stairlift to be fitted and stuck downstairs and after 3 nights on the sofa I couldn't stick it any more, so ordered this. It will also be handy for when we have visitors. Highly recommended. By the way the instructions tell you that the first few times you use it, it loses a bit of air during the day and needs topping up - and this is normal.

Better quality air bed than most but......
It is a lovely flocked bed that is fully inflated within max of 2 minutes.Deflating is about 3 minutes for a single bed.Very easy to unroll & set it up.It doesn't make any squeaky noises as I had a few blankets & duvets on top to make it more cushioney.Problem was, it deflated during the first few nights while I'm asleep & in the morning, I struggle to get off it with it being half flat, couldn't get hold of anything to get myself off (restricted access on both sides). The air pump is loud & had to inflate it a 2 times in the night when turning over & felt the floor underneath me which woke me up & him indoors annoyed with the noise of inflating it again. There is a small tineey weeny less than 1mm hole so it has been returned then sent out to me, had to find where it was leaking from & found these white scruff marks, with a rough feeling of material sticking out (bit like white threads on a bald tyre).Seller gave me my money back no problem after I showed him the photos of the damage so it isn't the seller's fault, it's the last buyer who damaged it & sent it back.Ideal for emergencies for unexpected guests, or watching over your ill pet like mine is watching over my sick 11 year old bunny during the night so I'm next to him incase he gets into difficulties.

Good quality
Built in air pump works fine.Loses air pressure over time, just need to add air.Isn't really a problem for me since we inflate in the evening and deflate in the morning.Overall, it think it's a good buy-UpdateAfter 2 weeks of regular use, I noticed that the bed expanded in width and height. It's no longer losing air pressure overnight.Perhaps the overnight air pressure loss during the first week is caused by the expansion of the material. Now, it is even more comfortable 👍👍

Worth the buy
Loving this air bed, yes it will deflate slightly but with the built-in pump it just a matter of inflating it again.
