Great toy

I am really impressed with the quality of this product, my 5 year old loves it. Not too interested in the word game at the moment, but loves the numbers and tangram. I purchased 'pizza co' and 'coding awbie' separately and he loves these too. All the osmo apps are free but you do need the osmo stand and reflector for the iPad or tablet (we use iPad). I did not buy the base for monster app, we found a white board or paper (but you have to keep using a new piece of paper with each drawing) did the job (sorry osmo) same with the newton app, we found the reflector could see lego pieces and used this info to make the game playable without purchasing all the pieces. I do highly recommend and am saving for the detective board for geography.. well done osmo. Nothing in this starter kit can't be done on the cheap, such as good old fashion pen and paper because of this it makes osmo a lot of money, but I think the next generation just learn more interactively with tech. I'm happy because I got a discount at Christmas, I also found with research that I could save some money by buying the genius starter kit and adding other games that need interactive board and pieces etc. you might find you can by the base and reflector and then just get the free apps, that way you can use pen and paper for e.g. And then decide if you want to pay up. Although they do grow with this product, at least over the next 10 years!

Awesome! We got this for our daughter but my partner loves it so much she plays on it just as much and they can’t put it down. It’s fun and fast paced at times trying to keep up with the customer orders. Would definitely recommend this and many of the other games Osmo does there great and good fun whatever your age. I’m the parts are of a very high quality to so it’s going to last a while.

It’s funny. It’s educational. It’s just great. The purpose is to make and sell pizzas while also giving change to customers. Sounds easy? Well, it is, but 5 year old one enjoys it a lot. If you want your child to get better at basic math while enjoying the process - that’s the solution.

Great game for kids and adults playing with their kids. The play modes which have ability adjustable are fab. When my 4yr wants to play I can do the cashier aspect for her or chose the Pizza Only mode so she can still play without me but not have to do the mental maths. Comes nicely packaged with trays which fit all components nicely. My only gripe which also lost it a star in my review is the Pizza board. Because it comes and stores folded it has a tendency to 'pop up and not lie completely flat. I also see this as a weak point which couild easily tear over time. Would've been better to have larger packaging and a play board that was totally solid. But it's a very clever concept of game and a nice addition to the Osmo series. Glad Amazon started to stock this as to order alone from Osmo had an extra £10 on shipping which was too cost prohibitive previously.

The whole family likes to have a go at this one. You can set the change mode to junior for the little ones who can't do sums, or harder and harder for the older ones. Gets as stressful as running your own pizzeria as the feedback from customers drives your business's success! So good, another win from Osmo.

This is a great use of “screen time” the interactive nature of the gameplay is exceptional. My son loves the game and it is also softly reaching him about money too!

My daughter loves this game but gets frustrated that the correct amount of toppings don’t show up so she is getting sad faces for getting it wrong
