Quite nice smell for a lower priced essential oil. Having tried many essential oils I can say that this one is not bad for the price range it is in and the pack is good value. The oils are generally what you would expect from the price and are good for oil burners and diffusers. They are probably okay for everyday use but for serious high end aromatherapy you will probably want to buy better ones than these, for example Neals Yard oils. The bottles are easy to open and they do not have a safety cap so keep well out of the reach of children, as you should with all essential oils! This particular set is strong and musky, what you would expect from a set called 'Woodland oils', and the oils are not too thick and drip easily from the bottle. They sell other oils and packs, some more expensive. The bottles are brown glass and if you want to know what they look like out of the box here is a link to another one of their oils (NOT included in this set) Peppermint Premium Essential Oil 100% Pure 10ml But as all their bottles look the same it gives you an idea of what the bottles in the set look like. Would make a good gift as the box is nice, if somewhat difficult to open!

Don’t be put off by the fact these are marketed as insect repellent there are some great aroma’s in this pack and I think they would have been far better putting a side note that this collection can help as an insect repellent. I am building a collection now and this is a great addition I have the Clove bud oil puffing away right now and it’s already become my new favourite. - Himalayan Cedarwood Essential Oil is known to be very relaxing and soothing to the mind and soul and has a nice subtle aroma. - Citronella Java helps to clear the mind and has a general toning and tonic effect on the body with a pleasant aroma. - Clove Bud can help ease respiratory problems, such as cough, colds, sinusitis, and asthma it also has a really nice aroma. - Lemon Cold Pressed aroma is similar to fresh lemon rinds except richer and more concentrated with a nice crisp fresh aroma - Piperita Mentha another great aroma and can also help relieve headaches Summary ********** A very nice variety of oils and I haven’t found any of them I don’t like, again don’t be put off by the fact they are marketed as insect repellents I think this was a mistake as it has put people off getting a nice variety pack of oils.

Fabulous real essential oils

Preface: only used in a diffuser, tried varying amounts of drops for each scent before reviewing. Out of the five scents, I only like two of them: Ajowan and Lemongrass Cochin. Ajowan smells just like my favourite bombay mix, the scent lasts quite a while. Lemongrass smells like lemongrass with a side of spices, lasts a long time as well. The other three are horrible, to me at least. Turmeric smells alright sniffing the bottle, but smells awful once diffusing, like musty and stale, hard to describe but it made me feel a bit iffy. Curry Leaf hardly had any scent and smelled very strange once diffusing, like when you cook a curry and the aroma is still lingering in your house after a week. Palmarosa is just a disgusting aroma! I've never smelled real palmarosa but it certainly doesn't smell "sweet and rose-like" as described on the net. This one smelled like rotting foliage mixed with a bit of curry powder. As the title suggests, of course this is just my opinion and whether they are great scents or not will be very subjective. But I've had to rate them according to my opinion because considering they're Essential Oils, I have to say I'm very disappointed in the choice offered, especially if the real-life counterparts smell just as bad.

*Pre-review note: You will notice this review on multiple Mystic Moments oils; I’ve purchased so many that I felt it better to review the range of products as a whole* I’ve been using MM fragrance oils and essential oils for the best part of a year in my candle-making; every scent has complimented soy wax so nicely. I have to use other brands now and again if MM doesn’t offer a particular scent that I need, but MM is the primary company I use and will continue to use for as long as possible. Such a small cost for such great quality means I can pass that small cost and high quality onto my customers. In summary, choose Mystic Moments if you’re looking for a high-quality, reliable brand for candle-making oils. Their delivery time is also great, and it’s free!

The oils arrived ahead of expecting shipping arrival date and in good condition. The outside of the box had a little damage to it from shipping, but the items inside it were fine. I was surprised that no bubble wrap or other packaging surrounded the standard oil box and I would suggest to the seller it would be best to send the item in some sort of protectant envelope to avoid potential breakage as some other reviewers had happen to them. The package has a very nice selection of citrus based scented oils and I use them in my diffuser. The scents of Italy is a very nice blend of different citrus-based scents and I had also purchased another citrus essential oils blend from the same company. Because citrus scents can be not a noticeable as other scents in a diffuser, I like to mix them with a medium scent to create a unique blend. Personally, I love the smell that is created in my diffuser when mixing a few drops of each of the bergamot Sicilian scent together with the lime distilled scent! If you like citrus-based scents, give this blend a try-you can't go wrong.

Best essential oils I've tried so far. The lime is my favourite, very clean and natural scent. Petitgrain I can do without. I wish they were a little stronger as the scent doesn't last long but overall good product.

The package had been previously opened and several of the bottles had leaked within the packaging. I also believe that the oils are not true essential oils. I wouldn't have bought them had I read the customer comments before the purchase as it appears that other clients have also had similar experiences and comments.

Super pleased with this collection of citrus blends. I only wish the bottles were bigger!! I have used all but the grapefruit to date and so far, the scent has retained in my cold process soap during the curing process, mixed at the medium strength at 3 oz essential oil to 75 oz total soap batch.

This is a great value pack to try the five essential oils before buying any bigger more economical versions. I was wanting to try 4 (basil, cypress, rosemary and rose geranium) which are all very good, plus the lavender which I knew would be good. (There's never really a problem with having too much lavender.) I am a repeat customer with mystic moments and never disappointed. Their products are good quality and well priced, so this value pack is recommended for anyone wanting to try or stock up on these essential oils.
