Is this easy for myself to insert as i have a bad back at times

Yes very easy, if your back is to bad to insert this then you most likely wouldnt be in the mood for sex any way.

I've read that this one can get dry and flaky quite quickly. Is this true? I'm concerned that this could defeat the object of using it.

From my personal experience I haven’t found this to be the case and has worked for me both times I have used it.
