Of course!! For the same day on which you used it...and it also depends on what you mean by 'work'. The clue is in the name!

Will this help clean the bottom of my tongue because I can feel (like there’s gunk there) , I’m always cleaning my teeth but still have bad breath

Try a tonsil stone syringe (basically spray water around your tonsil cavities). The bad breath is probably caused by bits of old food trapped in the tonsils. You’ll also need a tongue scraper.

After how long after rinsing my mouth with this product in the morning can I start eating or drinking?

I leave it for 30 minutes but if your using the toothpaste use the mouth wash befor you brush your teeth, then don't eat or drink for 30 minutes, I love this product it's great for your smile and its vegan friendly.Hope this helps x
