I've used it on suede boots and shoes, to good effect.

I have used on gor tex boots as well as leather

Can this be used in white leather shoes?

Yes I used it on my white golf shoes however i would not buy it again as it did not keep my feet completely dry. Still wet feet after a game of golf in wet conditions.
