This is a brilliant idea for the kitchen in many aspects. It is truly space saving so you can put your unappealing plasticy dish racks away, It adds that modern fancy look to your kitchen and it is just convenient above the kettle/coffee maker. The colour is more like a semi-gloss gray than silver unlike the photos. And be sure to measure the depth of your cupboard or youll have to modify the item to hold less mugs. The mugs hang at an angle so don't get too dusty depending on where the handle is and the balance they hang. You can also use the holder for cooking utensils. Metaltex also have a range of other under cupboard storage you can purchase together.

The important thing to know about this mug rack is that it needs to be mounted (the screw needs to be drilled in) to actually be able to support the weight of any mugs, which may not be feasible for everyone (ie, if you're in a rental). Despite there being ten hooks, this can only reasonably hold six standard-sized mugs (eight if you don't mind them being squeezed in and touching each other). You could only fit ten if you were talking about espresso mugs or if you had inordinately deep cabinetry (ie, mounted to be accessible from both sides over an island). This may limit its usability for some, and the photos are somewhat misleading in this regard as the mugs hanging on the rack are normal-sized mugs rather than espresso cups. As the rack can fit a large range of shelf thickness, it's actually quite wide at the front (where it wraps around the shelf), which is not visually appealing if you have standard-width cabinetry. This would naturally be an advantage if you happen to have thicker cabinetry. The anti-scratch coating is a nice touch, and once mounted with a screw the rack is quite stable. The brackets that lay along the inside of the cabinet aren't too obstructive to using the cabinet for most purposes. The rack does appear to be reasonably sturdy and, as there aren't really any breakable pieces, I can see this lasting for a long time--at least until we find a similar rack with better design meant for standard-sized mugs and which wraps more nicely around the cabinet.

Easy ordering and delivery service. Have organised a kitchen cupboard to take a few mugs and use dead space, and it looks fab now. It doesn’t hold as many mugs as claimed though - I’ve used every other hook, so there are spaces in between. It fits my under-shelf nicely - I’ve not bothered with the screws as I didn’t want to damage my cupboard and wanted the option of moving the rack if required in the future. It droops slightly due to the weight of the mugs but I still do not think it’s worth drilling holes to fully secure - it’s perfectly safe without. Great value for money and a great space saver.

A simple to fit "Italian-made" solution to the ever problem of where to put all our Coffe & Tea Mugs! Took all of 5-10 minutes to fit, now we have "Free" shelf space rather than a mountain of Mugs. Slight issue, this rack was obviously designed for Italian Expresso Coffee Cups, (see Photo) So not designed for English sized Mugs, so yes there may be 10 hooks, but within reason you can only get 6 Large sized Mugs to fit onto the rack, without overcrowding it. The only real concern is that to fit the Mug rack its support needs to slot onto the shelf, this leaves 2 prongs on the upper surface of the shelf above. This is a slight issue, but not a great issue, hence the 4 Stars! Warning - fitting the support bracket screw, requires a small Posi drive screwdriver to screw in the small screw. You need to take care NOT to shred the screw, as for some reason the aluminum screw head isn't that strong, and I found I was stripping the screw head off! Recommend: Buy it! Save Space Pros:: + Space saving, easy to fit Cons:: - designed for Italian Express cups, But realistically will only hold 6 Large UK Mugs. - Screw head can be easily shredded! (Take care when fitting) - the 2 supporting prongs go onto the upper shelf, so you end up losing space on this shelf, care needed when placing things on the upper shelf.

This is such a great idea, I have put mine on the bottom of a cupboard, which is above the kettle. No more rummaging in the cupboard for cups, they are just there. The kit comes with the strong metal cup holder that slots onto any shelf about 15mm thick. It also comes with a bracket and the screws. The bracket is shown on the picture, it is to sit halfway down the length of the cupholder on the cup side, and is to be screwed in place across the crossbar. I think this is to make sure the cupholder does not slide off the shelf when pulling cups towards you, but so far I don't think I need it, have kept it safe in case I change my mind. I have put 6 cups on, and the holder feels sturdy and secure.

Colgador de cocina Metaltex MY-MUG para 10 tazas en color plateado. Medidas: 28 cm de fondo, 14 cm de ancho y 6 cm de altura (desde ganchos superiores a colgadores). Viene adaptada para estanterías de 22mm, si es superior igual hay que forzar demasiado y no se si saltará el lacado/pintura, pero dudo que se puedan forzar y queden correctamente. Dispone de 10 Colgadores, la distancia/separación entre gancho y gancho es de 6 cm, es decir viene adaptada para tazas de un máximo de 6 cm de diámetro. _Instalación en una estantería/tablero de 16 mm: Al ser más estrecha, la holgura que me quedaba (por el peso) era de 6 mm y extéticamente no me gustaba, quedaba inclinada. Se me ocurrió recortar una plancha de metacrilato (puede ser de metracrilato o madera) de 16 x 9 x 0,6 cm y colocarla en la parte superior entre el hueco y las dos barras/soportes, con unas gotas de silicona u otros productos (casi no es necesario). Esto hace que desde abajo se vea pegadada totalmente al tablero, le dá más firmeza y con el accesorio de plástico para fijar a la estantería queda realmente queda mejor y más firme. _Conclusiones: Es una pena que el fabricante no disponga de diferentes grosores, para según la estantería que tengamos. La verdad es que solo uso 6 de los 10 ganchos (lo sabía de antemano), ya que las tazas son las típicas de 8 cm y para poder usar las 10 (sin problema) tienen que medir 6 cm de diámetro como máximo. De todas formas me ha servido para ahorrar espacio, solo lamento que el fabricante no disponga de una medida estandar de 22mm Saludos By Flype

Tried to hang a mug on the inner most hook but then I saw that the shelf started to "sag" under the weight from the mug, it got noticably worse when I hung another... The product will probably work well if you have plastic mugs.

It is perfect for holding small coffee cups; for larger cups, some hooks cannot be used. The only thing I didn't like so much is that it's not chrome, not shiny, it looked like it was in the product photo.
