I've been using my applicator pad for the last seven months to treat the tyres on two different cars and I am really pleased with it. It's far better than anything I've used before and I particularly like the fact that it has a cover which keeps the mess inside and away from hands etc. It also has nicely shaped sponge for the applicator - it is curved to suit the shape of the tyre walls but also has square edges which means that I can apply the treatment right up to the edge of the wheel rim. Rather than a gel I have been using Autoglym tyre dressing which seems to work quite well as a treatment and using the applicator rather than the trigger spray means that there is far less waste or mess. It even works well when treating mudflaps and other plastics! The only downside I have found with the applicator pad is that there are now signs of wear to the sponge so it's going to need replacing in the next 3-6 months, but I am so impressed with this one that I'm almost certain to buy the same model again next time.

Easy to use

Despite being something of a car cleaning enthusiast I’d never seen the need for a dedicated tyre dressing applicator. For years I’ve just sacrificed the current dish sponge from the kitchen. I must admit the first time I used it there was no question it was an improvement. It’s not perfect - I think the plastic could be higher quality and the cover/cap could have a more positive fit. I would still recommend it, though.

Slightly disappointed in this product, used it for applying tyre gel, does an ok job but after using it a handful of times it fell apart. Its basically a sponge which appears to be glued into a plastic housing, expensive for what it is and after only a few uses it looks as though the glue has failed and the sponge keeps falling out of the housing making it useless. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't buy again.

Great applicator

Missing my item gutted as I know meguiars are really good products (update item replacement has been sent out ) and have had time to use this great product easy application using the sponge and not getting products on my fingers make this amazing!

Zum auftragen von Reifenglanz ist der Schwamm wirklich sehr sehr angenehm. Man macht seine Hände nicht schmutzig und hat einen festen Griff (ich habe vorher einen normalen Schwamm benutzt). Allerdings sollte man vorsichtig sein, wenn man ein tiefergelegtes Auto hat. Der Griff vom Schwamm ist ziemlich groß und kann einen hindern den kompletten reifen zu erwischen.

J’avais des doutes, employant une éponge depuis toujours, mais aujourd’hui, je me demande pourquoi je n’ai pas commandé avant. C’est bien plus facile pour appliquer, les mains restent propres, que du bonheur.
