In a very frustrating move I recently went from a house with gas to a house with an induction cooker. My Mauviel copper plated pans don't work on an induction cooker so I was mightily hacked off. The cooper based Mauviel pans are a dream come true. However they are expensive. So I felt that I would buy some All-Clad as I assumed they would cook in a superior way to most pans. Either I was wrong or I'm missing something. I have actually received FREE induction pans that seem to cook as well as these ALL-Clad's. I'm confused and disappointed and maybe it's a different style of cooking using these, but they don't make me want to go out and buy a complete set.

This pot is great for making homemade spaghetti sauce. It is the perfect size and works well on my gas stove. The pot spreads the heat evenly so that the sauce doesn't overheat and burn. I was concerned about the size of the pot making it too heavy to handle with ease, but that is not a problem. It is a well made product and I expect it will serve me for many years.

You can't go wrong with All-Clad. Expensive relative to other options but very high quality. Beautiful and high performing. This is cookware to use for life and leave to your kids.
