These are the best storage bags I have used over 5.5 years of breastfeeding. Originally I would be freezing the milk in bottles as we had so many from neonatal pumping. But it took so much space in the freezer so I decided to get these. The bags are strong and durable. You can label them to ensure you don’t use old milk which is really handy. They freeze flat which is great for saving space. They have a double seal which stops any milk from escaping. They have amounts on the side which can be handy when you’re bagging them - don’t want to freeze more than baby can drink and waste it. They are quick and simple to use. I had to scald my milk because of high lipase and the process wouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to bag it all up. Definitely worth the price to keep milk safe, well packaged and stored.

When we had our first child (who is only 7 weeks tomorrow) there were some complications at birth and he was in special care for several days. Being in here meant we were unable to be with him 24/7 and, as my wife was being treated for complications as well, we were unable to breastfeed. The Hospital was great and they had to bottle feed him. Of course when we then had to opportunity to try and breastfeed the little man was not having it - he wanted to ease and speed of the bottle and did not like the breast (im not sure he is his fathers son) Anyway, we got an electric Breast Pump (also from Amazon, great piece of kit, easy to use and sterilise and fitted the bottles we already had, good old TImothy) As it turned out my wife was able to produce vast amounts of milk, to the point where we needed another option for longer term storage. These bags are great, they have plentiful space to write on when the milk was expressed and when it should be used by. They are a very good quality bag, and have not been damaged when just chucked in the freezer - very durable. Easy to seal and the seal feels secure as well, you only need to do it once to seal the contents and you feel confident thats its sealed properly. They hold large amounts of milk, or as we use them, small amounts - enough for each feed. We did try another make as well - someone gave us a few to try - and we found those just felt thinner and not as substantial as these, and for the price these turned out to be more cost effective anyway. I would 100% recommend these for long term storage of milk and would not hesitate in buying them again if we needed too.

Very easy to use, good size, durable and leak proof. They work exactly as I need them to. My only gripe is the measurements are difficult to gage. Depending on what pump I use, it's not very precise. If I use a pump which has a bottle attached, I know exactly how much is going in. Straight from a haaka or similar, it's anyone's guess really. You think you've stood the bag up and pulled it right to be able to see the measurement. Pour it into a bottle at a later date, and it's about an oz out. I only pump for surplus and am not reliant on the milk for feeds so for me it's not a problem - I can put the baby direct to source if it's not enough for a full feed to top them up. But this could be very problematic for those who need precise measurements.

Really good milk storage bags. Easy to use and easy to write on. Nice that they come with a tear off strip to ensure you know they are sterile. Used alongside Lansinoh hand pump (excellent pump) and storage bottles. Have allowed me to build up a good freezer full of expressed milk. No issues with leaks and double seals are great. Hold a good quantity of milk and freeze/defrost well.

I’m really happy with these milk storage bags. I used them for expressed milk which I put in our freezer. Main reasons I like these is they store a lot of milk (up to 180ml if I’m remembering right), they have a double seal so even if one comes open (which it never has) the second one will prevent any spilling out. They also have a really handy top where you fill out the date, time, volume and name so it’s easy to keep track of which ones to use when you are getting them out the freezer. I think they’re really good value for money too compared to some supermarket own brands that worked out more expensive than buying them online from here. I freeze the milk so hubby can help out with feeds if I even need to be away from our lo or if I’m not well. To prepare the milk all we do is run the frozen bag under a hot tap then once it’s defrosted just pour into a bottle, it’s so easy and convenient. Can’t rate these highly enough!
