True to colour (I went for the blue one). Classic thin cotton (as it should be) and soft to skin. Happy customer.

Material was good quality but the colour wasn't quite right. Photo showed it to be more of a brown. Return was easy and received a refund hassle free.

Great shamaga, use in work on a daily basis. Good for both keeping the sun from my head and neck and when the temperature drops retaining warmth around my neck. Material is thin but once folded and tied is more than sufficient for the job

I’m well pleased with this purchase. It looks and feels high quality. It’s big so can be used as neckwear or headwear. Because it’s not very thick, it can be used to keep the sun off or used as protection from the wind, even on warm-ish days. That said it is surprisingly warm when wrapped around. Comparing a Shemagh to a Buff I would say it looks better/trendier than a Buff. It is warmer than the basic Buff but maybe not as warm as a thermal one. The Buff would win if you were taking part in sports or something where there is a lot of movement - cycling or jogging, for eg.. btw I bought a different coloured one so I am going to cut and paste this text into that one as well, just in case you look and see the exact same review and are puzzled. Hope that helps, guys.

Brought as a presant very pleased

This is a good quality, well made and good sized traditional Arab Shemagh (also known as a Kaffeyah). The colour was slightly lighter than it appeared in the photo, but this isn't a problem, it's still a decent Shemagh. These are so perfect for the British climate all year round - they'll keep you warm when it's cold, and cool when it's hot. I use them mainly for camping, outdoors, and working at music festivals. They've been favoured in the British military for many years since the SAS was established in North Africa during WW2. There are so many uses for these if you are the outdoors type. It's a scarf, a hat to keep you warm, or sunshade when it's baking hot, a towel, a ground matt for sitting on or having a picnic, it can be used as an emergency bandage, a blanket, a pillow, a skirt or kilt, a bag for collecting things like firewood, even a water filter. I literally will not go camping or hiking without one! Now there is a legal face covering requirement due to Covid, this is going to come in handy this winter! What you get for that price makes it really good value. 5 stars and I happily recommend it, and if you haven't owned a Shemagh before and are considering one - just go for it you won't be disappointed!

Heb deze besteld als een anvulling op de traditionele Shemaghs die ik al heb, en enorm graag gebruik. Het materiaal voelt stevig aan, en het lijkt erop dat dit inderdaad echt katoen is en echt geweven materiaal, dus dat is een pluspunt. Ook is de shemagh lekker groot. Maar het grote minpunt is, dat het materiaal dun is, en erg losjes geweven. Ik ben van mijn traditionele shemaghs ook wel gewend dat die een beetje losjes geweven zijn en doorschijnen. Dat hoort ook zo: Ze worden oorspronkelijk in warme landen gebruikt, en zijn dus van ademend en sneldrogend materiaal. Ze danken hun warmte als sjaal vooral aan het feit dat we meerdere lagen over elkaar gebruiken, en daardoor veel isolerende lucht vangen. Maar deze shemagh gaat wel een stapje verder dan dat. Je zou gerust kunnen zeggen dat de dichtheid van deze doek vergelijkbaar is met kaasdoek, of zeer fijne borduurstramien. Beetje jammer, dus. Vandaar maar 3 van de 5 sterren.

L’hiver se termine mais il reste encore des fraîcheurs dans l’air. Ce foulard nous tiens à l’abris des vents frais et relents d’hiver. Prendre note que ce foulard est large. Mais couvre très très biens. Très jolie teinte de bleu. Pour une soirée fraiche de l'été sera votre compagnon parfait. Fabrication excellente. Valeur prix/qualité 10/10
