Very Impressive - and English!
A gem of a book. No photos, but the recipes don't need them! Easy to follow and make, all yummy. And using these recipes will activate your creativity - it has mine! One recipe has just three ingredients - custard, yogurt and Amaretti biscuits. Hadn't got the biscuits and so instead used Biscoff. My God, absolutely delicious. Can't recommend the book highly enough. Buy it now!

Clear instructions to make some lovely ice creams
The booklet I received with my ice cream maker has good recipes for vanilla, strawberry, mint & chocolate but I wanted to experiment. This little book has helped me understand which types of cream to use and what fruit, nuts and syrups work. I used the bramble & elderflower recipe to make raspberry & elderflower ice cream and it was amazing. Next I'm going to try the maple & pecan ice cream. There are no pictures, but I really don't need to see what other people made, as I want to achieve the right consistency for me. This little book has encouraged me to experiment and I'm sure I will be able to adapt the recipes - looking forward to trying with pre-prepared custard as some of the recipes specify.

Handy little (it is little) book but no pictures
Small book (I have the paperback, it's about 13 by 20 cm, 128 pages. Measurements are mostly metric, occasionally with imperial, but no indication of whether the spoon sizes are British or US (book was printed in UK). Note that the liquid measurements are mostly based on carton sizes and may not match the ones in your local supermarket - especially as the recipes measure by ml, and very often yoghurt, cream, etc. is packaged by weight! The recipes are simple and clear and a good starting point with an ice cream maker BUT there are no pictures, and the best recipe books have images that inspire.

Great Book
Great little book, New Edition, NO BLANK PAGES. Only 128 pages of great information. I hope this puts the negative reviews to bed. A must buy if you want some great recipes

So informative
This is a great book with loads of recipes. The best bit is the information. Everything you need to know about making ice cream. I don't need glossy photos as I know what a scoop of ice cream looks like!
