Quality metal
I have been wood carving for more than a decade. i most often use traditional Japanese 'soft steel' knives but needed a handy knife to cary around. This has not disappointed. The metal is of high quality and keeps an edge, i have carved ebony with it. The included sharpening block will sharpen all the tools easily. Good knife for beginners or experienced carvers. Fits in my medium sized male hand perfectly. Just make sure you get one that fits your carving style [push or pull, ie left or right handed model]. I bought one, it was stolen, I bought another. Happy carving.

hot take: most attractive pocket knife ive ever held
I know thats saying a lot but i challenge you to buy this knife and disagree. it is the perfect size, weight, thickness. i have the silver. the blades are polished like a high end japanese knife. they will shave off clumps of arm hair. they open without cracking nails although some have a small wobble when locked open. that being said, the locking mechanism is nice. i like the brass rivets and the logo is attractive as well. dont have a whittling knife? you will never find a better one. even the sheath is veg tanned leather looks like it cost 50 bucks to make. did they lose 200$ making this knife? i wouldnt be surprised. its hard not to show it off. the sharpening system it comes with takes getting used to but again it looks like it cost a fair amount to make and adds to the overall impression of next level quality.

Great pocket carver
This carving knife is exactly what I needed. I’m a truck driver and it’s difficult to carry all my carving tools when I’m on the road. With this multi-carving blade knife I can have the most basic carving gouge and scorps in my pocket.

Awesome Combo Knife for wood carvers
I love flexcut knives, for me they are the standard of wood carving accessories. It has to be as good or better than flexcut for me to purchase. Personally I do recommend that you get the opposite of your dominant hand, meaning right handed people get the left handed jack, and left handed get the right handed jack. The reason being that the scorps and hook knives will then be facing away from you when you’re using it. I got an INCREDIBLE deal from gritr so I’m quite pleased with my purchase.
