Eucerin Extra Dry Skin Intensive 10% w/ w Urea Treatment Lotion 250ml

I do really like this moisturiser and if you are using it daily it does improve the softness of your skin. You don’t get much in the bottle especially if this is for daily use so value for money isn’t great. But it does give you instant relief from dry skin.I give it 5 stars because my son’s skin can look visibly dry but when I use this on his skin it really does give it a nice shine and glow which a lot of other moisturisers do not do for his skin.Depending on what you are looking for your moisturisers to do, this could be a good addition to your routine but may be better options out there. I got this to help with bumpy legs which on its own won’t target that.

This lotion is a very effective moisturizer that has significantly improved my dry skin. It provides lasting hydration without feeling greasy, and the results are consistently good. It also offers excellent value for the money, especially given its performance.I appreciate the clean and safe ingredients list, which gives me confidence in using it regularly. The one minor drawback is its texture, which is a bit thinner than I typically prefer. This sometimes makes it difficult to squeeze out just the right amount without wasting some.However, its effectiveness and value are compelling. It is a reliable product I will continue to use.

I was recommended this by a dermatologist to help with keratosis pilaris (KP). He was quite honest and said that it won't cure it, but research suggests that emollients with urea in can improve symptoms. It's one of the nicer moisturisers I've tried, it feels greasey initially but sinks in quite quickly - a definite bonus compared to Aveeno which just sat on my skin and never really sank in. It's improved my dry skin no end but hasn't really helped the appearance of my KP, which I was prepared for tbf. I'd buy this again but it's on the expensive side... I've put a photo with my (quite small) hand on the bottle so you can see the scale/size of the bottle. It is a lovely product all in all. Zero scent.

I suffer from psoriasis & have tried every lotion & potion going over the last 40 years + prescription meds too. Due to a heavy bout of chemo (& stress) my psoriasis flared up & pretty much covered my whole body! Nothing has managed to clear/manage it part from natural sunlight in small doses, which does not happen much here. Decided to do some research myself & come up with using Exorex, coal tar based lotion, prescribed by my doctor, which I applied twice a day. My routine was a bath using Eucerin shower & bath therapy, which is a light oil that lathers when wet, followed by applying Exorex, letting it dry for a least 20 mins then apply Eucerin extra dry skin extensive 10% urea lotion. I would apply another dose of Exorex during the day/evening depending on when I had my bath. This combination has cleared my very red & inflamed psoriasis completely. Exorex can stain your clothes & towels, I use old ones, I wait to it has completely dried before getting dressed so it does not stain, which it never has. I can only express that this worked for me. I discussed using Exorex with my doctor who then prescribed it for me. I am also prescribed doublebase gel (isopropyl mysristate 15% w/w liquid 15% w/w) which is very good too. It can be used as a shower/bath cleanser & moisturiser. I do not know whether u can get Eucerin on prescription, I have not tried yet. I also use Dermo Capillaire calming shampoo & Dermo Capillaire calming urea scalp leave in treatment, Which has completely cured my itchy/flaky scalp. These products can be expensive but you do not need to use large amounts so they last quite a while, also on the plus side your kids/partner won't be nicking them! These products have truly made a huge difference to my life, as anyone would know suffering from psoriasis . A foot note, at first the Exorex seemed to make my psoriasis red/slightly tingly but not sore or painful after two weeks using Exorex & Eucerin products it cleared.
