Over engineered. But having said that, it,s the best fitting kit I have ever experienced, and I have had quite a few kits. Even parts where you would expect a little sanding , clicked into position perfectly. A pleasure to build. The instructions and drawings were another matter. Confusing and inadequate to say the least. But all in all a cracking good kit. Deserves 5 stars.

This kit is expensive as hell but worth every penny; It is detailed through and through and the Photo etch parts included give it that extra kick which does this; the queen of battleships justice. She is a monster of a build though; time an effort certainly required!

Excellent new tool model from Tamiya ,””finished” within a month (due to lockdown but I’m still working on her) with pleasure ,highly recommended however you may need some experience and extra parts though.

Not a revision of an existing mould, this is totally new issue - an amazingly detailed kit that includes photo etch.

El barco es muy bonito. Se necesitan herranientas para hacer algunos huecos, les recomiendo un mini taladro para ello. El barco esta muy detallado y lo mejor es que puedes pintarlo a tu gusto. ¡Definitivamente es idéntico a lo que algun dia fue el Yamato en persona!

This is a great kit at a good price. Tamiya quality speaks for itself. Delivery was very fast, in fact I received the kit much earlier than expected.

Super Bausatz! Teile passen exakt. Nur für Fortgeschrittene. Ich hab 5 Tage gebraucht um den Rumpf bis zum Oberdeck fertigzustellen. Einziger Minuspunkt: bei dem Preis, hätte Tamiya auch noch die Reling dazu liefern können und müssen.

Ottimo modello da assemblare. Completo di tutto, tranne i colori. Il costo è elevato ma anche la qualità del prodotto è elevata quindi vale ogni centesimo. Per quanto riguarda la consegna invece massima delusione. Al primo tentativo la mia nave è andata persa. Chiesto ed avuto il rimborso. Il secondo tentativo ha fatto centro e il mio ordine è andato a buon fine anche se con 2 giorni di ritardo.

最新のベリーファイヤ製の戦艦大和を購入したのですが、タミヤのこのキットも比較したくなり購入してしまいました。 発売時期は13－１4年タミヤの方が古いのでしょう。 最新考証とは言えないのかもしれませんが、安心して組み立てられます。 ベリーファイヤ製は、３Dプリント部品などフンダンに使われているのだけど、組説の間違えが結構多いし、穴開け指示のメクラ穴が無かったり、やはり新興中華メーカーだなと感じました。 日本国内での値段差も大きいですが、圧倒的にタミヤ製をお勧めします。 部品点数はかなりあり、スタートの船体の作成は簡単では無くそこで失敗するとゲームオーバーになったりして。 なので大和初心者は簡単なハセガワ製、フジミ製で練習をしてからかなと思います。 追加：タミヤ大和は木甲板色で就役時界隈の姿に改造、ベリーファイヤー大和は、黒甲板で沖縄特攻前界隈の姿で製作しています。
