This is very good and such a relief during the heatwave, extra coolness by keeping in the fridge. Great price for a good product.

Excellent for a quick cooldown. I feel like there are a lot of misconceptions about this product, like it should be what a heated blanket is to cooling. The gel inside the product will take on heat and come back to normal room temperature after a while, whether it is still absorbing body heat at this point is debatable. I have 2 of these and I use them specifically during heatwaves, I keep them in the fridge, I usually get one out in the afternoon which I place under my lower head, kneck and shoulders whilst lying down. The cooling feeling is very welcome when one is hot and bothered. I get something like 30 minutes until the pad is back to room temperature, the first 5-10 minutes are icy cold and very refreshing and then I feel a gentle cooling for up to 30 minutes. The pad is easy to clean and place back in the fridge. I then get one out for bedtime and it helps me cool down again, I don’t sleep with it through the night. This is a cheap product, I remember buying it for £5 several years ago in B&M, I bought it for £8.90 on Amazon recently which I thought was perfectly reasonable. It’s not a miracle product but it certainly packs a nice cooling punch when needed.(Just remember to cool it in the fridge).

Works well enough, it does warm up overnight when your laying on it and keeps that warmth for a bit. Works best it u put it in fridge first

It's quite nice at first. You can definitely feel the coolness when you put your head on it, if your bedroom has stayed coolish during the day. After a while, it warms up a bit, but not uncomfortably so. I haven't tried putting it in the fridge before bed.

Ok, I had to put it in the fridge to get a decent cold temperature to it, lasted about 20 minutes till it was back to room temperature

This gel cushion has now survived three separate heatwaves and has become an official member of the household. It spent a week commuting nightly between the fridge and my bed and somehow remained the MVP throughout. On the cooler of the hot nights it works well absorbing body heat, but the secret to success is putting it in the fridge for a few hours before bed. Kept me cool enough to sleep during several very hot nights. It now has honorary emotional support status and will remain on standby in the fridge until the next atmospheric tantrum. Was so impressed I bought a second one as a gift for my mum.

Chillmax Pillow are the best chill pillows on the market today. I have tried the others but none are anywhere near the high quality. They can be put in fridge folded up to get extra cool. I often use till hot then drop on floor beside bed, then during night pick up (as cool again) and use. Perfect for menopausal women who suffer hot sweats. No smell of plastic, perfect size and just right amount of gell inside. They do eventually need replacing as the gell dissipate over time then you simply buy replacement.

I really like how simple this is to use — the size is just a bit smaller than a standard pillow, which makes it perfect for lying on or placing across your chest. I actually bought it because my cat loves sleeping on me, and with the hot weather I needed something to keep myself cool at night. It definitely helps. The quality feels good for the price and I can see it being useful for other things too, like cooling an injury or soothing sore muscles. The material is easy to wipe clean, which is a big plus. My only issue is the heat absorption: although it works well at first, after about 10–15 minutes it starts making me sweat where it’s placed. Still effective, just not ideal for long sessions.

good purchase. put in fridge to get very cool for those days over 90 degress/30 c. does heat up overvtime and will cool off if you do not contact. i would suggest getting two. that way you can swap out in the middle of the night if you wake up warm. really helps aid my ability to fall asleep quickly because of the coolness roght out of the fridge

Lo devolví . La frescura dura unos minutos, cuando se calienta con el calor de la cabeza, insoportable. Sudas el doble al no traspirar. No lo recomiendo.

J'ai déjà un article similaire mais plus petit, ça fait un bien fou quand il y a canicule, pour s'endormir ou pour se rafraîchir 👌👍😜 Par contre déçu, parce que l'article est envoyé dans la boîte d'origine seulement 😔😔😔

Per caso ho trovato questo prodotto e devo ammettere che funziona! Senza doverlo mettere in frigo, tiene fresca la zona a contatto. Lo sto provando per capire quanto tempo rimane fresco.
