As someone who works on CNC machines and various outdoor DIY electrical projects, I have to say these Lonlonty aviation connectors exceeded my expectations. First of all, the build quality is top-notch. As you can see from the close-up photos I took, the metal threads are smoothly machined with zero burrs. The 4-pin male contacts have a nice gold-plated finish, ensuring excellent conductivity and stable signal transmission. The biggest selling point for me is the solderless screw-terminal design. Looking at the inside of the connector, there are four individual terminal holes, each clearly numbered (1, 2, 3, 4). This makes wiring incredibly easy and foolproof! You just strip the wire, insert it, and tighten the screw—no soldering iron required. It saves so much time and holds the wires very securely. Furthermore, the waterproof construction is highly reliable. When disassembled, you can clearly see the rubber sealing gland and the tight end-nut. Once assembled and tightened down on the cable, it creates a perfect weather-resistant seal. I feel completely confident using these in wet or industrial environments. Only minor thing: the wire gauge range could be printed on the housing for quick reference. Finally, they arrived neatly individually packaged, which keeps them clean and prevents scratching during transit. Overall, this is an outstanding value for industrial-grade waterproof connectors. Whether you need them for sensor cables, e-bikes, or automated machinery, I highly recommend them! Will definitely buy again.

I have been using a similar product from a well known manufacturer for more than 20 years and paying almost 5x the price for a lower quality product. As part of my job (now retired) I needed to make instrumentation connections for temporary installations and used a brand name M12 4 pin connector with all the wonderful IEC ratings to do this. Work paid for them so I always got what I thought was the best. Over the years several of these (when I was scrapping out installations) found their way home and I used them for various inhome projects. Overall M12 connectors are awesome and very versatile. They are weather resistant (IP67) and the terminal screw style allow you to use them and reuse them for different applications. Add in the higher voltage rating -250V- allows them to be used on so many systems. (Note I would never use these at a voltage above 120V personally) So for years I used the brand name ones - work was paying - and I wanted that brand name to assure the ratings were legitimate IEC certs, etc. Note I had a number of issues with the brand name ones, the terminal set screws would often break when trying to tighten them down, the threads were course and would often not fully seat, and overall the cheap metal/plastic of the threaded connections were just not well made. So now retired I need a few replacements for around the home projects and did not want to pay for name brand units (heck these were minor house projects at low voltage). So I took a shot on buying these units. OMG these are so much better made than the brand name ones I have been using it is ridiculous. The threaded connectors are clean, heavy duty and thread fully together tightly assuring a great weather proof seal (the brand name ones almost never fully engaged properly). The screw terminals are at least twice as beefy and clearly better made. And the terminal labeling is clear and easy to read (some of the brand name ones you need a magnifying glass to even see them). Clearly these are much better made units. And a fraction of the cost. Note of caution though - I do not see in their listing any reference at all to any IEC or other certification. This is probably why they are so much lower cost - those certifications come at a cost. But for my application (no certification or liability involved) these are by far the best value - and will definitely be my go to for future projects. Thank you so much for making a product that far exceeded my expectations.

Don’t use these if you intend to take them apart and put them together often. If you’re going to connect these and leave them permanently, then they should be fine. The pins are very weak and if you happen to insert the plugs in just the wrong way they bend.

These are easy to use and solidly built. I used them for video in my van. They are larger than the typical aviation connector so you need to use them in pairs.
