I purchased this for my Blink security camera’s Sync Module 2 to have reliable local storage with enough space that we wouldn’t need to keep clearing it. For this, it’s been perfect. It stays plugged in all the time, has plenty of room, and has been fast, fully compatible and looks neat enough with the hub. Nice and small for the storage capacity - would recommend!

Very small and easy to attach to keyring if you need to carry it with you. it is all plastic so not sure how well it would withstand any kind of force or drop.

The SanDisk Cruzer Blade 64GB USB Flash Drive is excellent value for money. I bought this to send a large number of photos to a friend. This flash drive is compatible with all mainstream systems (Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OSX 10.6+). The item is compact at only 4cm long which means it's easily carried. There is a small hole in the top of the stick for attaching to a key ring. This is a USB 2.0 device and will work perfectly fine with both USB 2.0+ and USB 3.0+ ports. This flash drive is supplied with complimentary SecureAccess software which will enable you to encrypt and password protect critical files. The software works with Windows and Mac systems (you need to download the Mac version from SanDisk's website - full instructions are provided in a PDF document installed on the flash drive). Note that you do not need to use this security software if you don't want to secure your files. However, this is a useful feature if you store sensitive information on the drive and you choose to carry the stick around on your keyring! This particular model is currently available in storage sizes from 4GB to 128GB. I bought the 64GB version which is more than ample for my needs. The manufacturers blurb on this page and other sites provide useful reference tables to help you decide how much memory you need. In a simple test I transferred 650 photos from an Apple Macbook to this SanDisk flash drive. The total size of the transferred files was 2.17GB. The files transferred at a rate of 3.8 MB/Sec and completed in just over 9 minutes. Reading the files back from the flash drive was around 4 times quicker than write speed. There are more expensive flash drives out there. If you need a drive that's indestructible, extremely fast or has blinking lights to tell you that it's busy then this isn't the drive for you. For everyone else I highly recommend this item.
