Can't beat the value of this tequila. It's a world away from the cheap stuff I drank years back as a poor student. My wife and I enjoy this neat, as tequila slammers with salt and lemon wedges, and in my favourite margaritas. It's very, very drinkable!

This is such a great-tasting and smooth tequila, both for sipping and cocktails. Great price, too. This has now become my go-to tequila!

For a lower priced tequila (that’s also available in most uk supermarkets), it’s exceptional. Smooth, balanced, and a great sipping tequila. Look, this isn’t Fortaleza, but at less than half the price, it’s stunning. I can taste it’s made using highlands agave, which isn’t my favourite, I prefer the more vegetal taste of the valley stuff. But that doesn’t mean this isn’t excellent, and when you take the low price into account I’d say it’s exceptional, I’d say it’s easily on a par with, and tastes similar to, 1800 tequila which is almost double the ££.

This is delicious! I love tequila but normally drink blanco, I thought I'd try this for important research reasons... I'm so glad I did. It's fantastic with lemonade and a wedge of lime. I would absolutely recommend!

Bought to recreate a cocktail had on our travels, I've no idea if what was made is anything like the original, but it went down too easily so, good enough. Definitely a stronger taste than the white or silver versions, so you are very aware that you are drinking tequila. Used in a short cocktail, with simple syrup, lime juice and an amarena cherry (for a more sour but tasty twist, replace 5ml of simple syrup with the cherry juice). It tends to separate a bit, so mixing/stirring was needed fairly regularly. A simple and elegant bottle, that is pretty enough for gifting without being pretentious. A more rounded taste than a lot of the more well known or cheaper brands, but as the price is in the same ballpark as the cheaper brands, this one is the easy and obvious choice. I prefer silver tequila, so my experience of reposado tequila is somewhat limited, but this one is definitely top of my slowly expanding list. I've a bottle of jose coming, will update review with a comparison. Edit. This has a deeper and more rounded flavour than Jose, so Altos remains my first choice in tequila.

Great to drink on its own or as a margarita. I have tried many tequilas and this is my favourite. I have purchased other more expensive tequilas and in my opinion this is the best .

In this price range an excellent tequila. Works perfectly for making a more delicious Reposado Margarita
