Chinese Sky Lanterns, Assorted Colours

Reading the reviews I was amazed that a fair proportion of your customers used them to remember loved ones, as we did. This is a very special purchase, 'Huge, don't go up too high, last for ages, environmentally friendly. Used to see gran off at her wake, sure she was impressed. Also!! didnt use for 18 months, still OK.'

Beautiful and large chinese lanterns. We got them in memory of a loved one, and they were a lovely thing to do together. Lovely range of colours. Do take at least 2 people to set them off but we all had a really good time doing so. Make sure you have a good launch spot with lots of clear place.

Some of the lanterns were stuck together and ripped when trying to pull apart, however the ones that worked were quite good and flew a long way before going out.

the wax lighting card which constitutes the burner on this product is almost impossible to light effectively which necessitates a lot of matches or a really patient lighter.. Who ever is manufacturing this product needs to look carefully at the way they have impregnated the 'burner' part of the lantern.....It can be a fustrating experience resulting in giving up and returning to base to see if anything could be done to improve this situation....I found that by ripping the square cardboard lighter burner (or whatever it is that constitutes the burner) then there was a slight chance of the burner would ignite and stay alight... My own opinion is that this product really needs looking at....I'm sorry to have to report it...but its what i found when i attempted to fly the lanterns one evening! I

I went ahead and bought some these (disregarding the negative reviews and went for the positive reviews). for my lovely Daughters resting place where i go every evening, i go to light candles for her. sometimes i launch a lantern to make a change for her. If the breeze is not too strong i send up one of these. sometimes it just hovers there nearly motionless above her a couple of feet while it builds up warm air for the flight. i now launched 3 of these successfully and they flew really well. went up to about 400 - 500 hundred feet or more then picked up a bit of breeze then really sped away drifting on the wind. She would have loved them. i managed to light them on my own. don't worry like i did and think the strings (not wire) that holds fuel cell going to burn out real quick it doesn't

I purchased these for a Christmas party, 10 children all chose a colour each. The whole party, adults and children gathered in the garden to watch and they didn't disappoint! Each and every one was a success and they looked absolutely beautiful! I was worried after reading some of the reviews on here that they would be rubbish but as long as you give them time for the heat to gather inside the lantern by holding them aloft at arms length until you feel them begin to pull, they take off really well. They are a lot bigger than I expected so you could see them for a long time before they drifted out of sight. I will definitely buy some more next year!

Abousltly disgusted!!! Brought two packs to do a memorial gathering for my grandmother who just past away, lanterns were torn damaged and the ones that were opening fine the wax block did not ignite so what should have been a memorable night turned out a disappoint I now have many children that are upset they never got to leave a message on the lateren so how could it reach heaven DO NOT BUY !!! WASTE OF MONEY !!!

product was good, but I didn`t receive the correct amount of lanterns in order, but company sent out more lanterns very quickly.
