UniBond Kitchen and Bathroom, Mould-Resistant Transparent Sealant, 280 ml

I bought the UniBond Bath & Kitchen Mould Resistant Silicone Sealant for a bathroom repair project, and it has been an excellent product. It was easy to apply and gave a neat, clean finish around the areas that needed sealing. The transparent silicone blends in well with different surfaces, making it a versatile choice for bathrooms and kitchens. It creates a strong waterproof seal that helps prevent water from getting behind tiles, baths and sinks, which is exactly what you need from a good sanitary sealant. The mould-resistant properties are a great feature, especially in damp areas where standard sealants can quickly become discoloured. Once applied and left to cure, it feels durable and provides a long-lasting barrier against moisture. Overall, this UniBond sealant is a dependable choice for DIY jobs around the home. I always use this bathroom sealer. Works as expected and dries in reasonable time, I always leave it overnight to make sure thoroughly set. Tough sealant. Lasts a few years. I used a razor blades scraper to remove old sealant, removes this brilliantly. I also mask off the area I want to apply to the sealant at and use a rubber gloves wet finger to smooth.

Great product, having noted the great price duly purchased with arrival the next day. Only noticed when taking out of the parcel that this came withOUT a cap to put over the nozzle after use ... See pics. As a regular 'caulking gun' user not an issue for me as I have these ... DIYer's please note the omission and ensure you purchase caps if you don't want to find the whole tube has gone hard on second time of using....in my humble opinion a naughty little omission that will catch some people out. Would have been a 5 star rating if a nozzle cap had been included!

So far so good, easy to apply, seems to do what it is supposed to. Seems durable and has a nice finish. Average price but Unibond products are good.

Good product great result

Good quality sealant. Used in my kitchen to replace the old sealant, at the corner edges of the counter surfaces. No bubbles, nice and smooth consistency, no issues dispensing - not too thick, not too thin, perfect consistency. Lots in the tube, so good value for money, hopefully, it will last the test of time and I'll be able to unplug the hardened stuff at the end of the nozzle and use the same tube for the next sealant change. Seems to have set nicely and effectly preventing moisture from seeping through the crack at the edge behind the kitchen sink 👍 .

Would be good to have the reviews match the actual product! I read the reviews and didn’t realise I was ordering a translucent bath sealant (when would that be used I ask?!) so am now having to order another one in WHITE so that I can finish the job that is half started.

Did the job as expected, no surprises, would buy again
