I have had Sistema products in the past and always been impressed with the quality. These tubs are no different.In regards to capacity though, I feel like these are slightly less than 1.25 litres because if you look at the picture, the lid is quite deep, but this space is not useable (because you can obviously only fill the tub up to the brim). The lids on these tubs seems to be much deeper than on the 2.4 litre steamer, or the noodle bowl, so it's just something to be aware of. Maybe the tub itself is indeed 1.25 litres capacity...but I don't think it is and I think they are include the space under the lid in this!Speaking of capacity, I was able to get 250g of cooked pasta into a single tub, along with 4 sausages, half a jar of pesto, and a decent amount of fried diced onions! But this really does fill the tub right to the brim, so there isn't a lot of room for stirring (which I would do halfway through microwave cooking from frozen). Still room for cheese on top though, so that's the primary concern dealt with.One minor annoyance with these tubs is that I can only fit 3 of them in one of my freezer doors (I have a standard Hotpoint fridge / freezer - the fridge is on top, and the freezer is at the bottom and consists of 3 drawers and a little basket type drawer at the bottom. I can't even stack them sideways as they are slightly too big and the freezer drawer won't close. So only being able to fit 3 in one freezer drawer is a bit of a bummer, but not the end of the world. With 3 in the drawer, I can still fit a pizza, or something similarly shallow, on top.As for the price, they are expensive, but I think they are worth it. They are good quality and will last a long time, and they keep the microwave clean, so I think it's worth paying that little bit more for the brand.

I have always seen this brand as 5 star, from construction, the quality air spout, colour to flexibility of the product. Last night I diced a melon & popped it in, great for salad boxes and excellent for cold pasta dishes. (Left over /bolognese / carbonara, add a splash of water for delicious microwave reheats.)Freezer, microwave & dishwasher proof. Personally I do not freeze them and I usually hand wash them.Made in NZ, long lasting.There are cheaper but the difference is obvious. (I keep a cheaper product for heating any tomato based dishes as reheating stains the product)You won’t be disappointed.

This is an excellent product - so first of all may I coagulate the manufacturers on a job well done.It is certainly refreshing to know that the boffins behind such products clearly take a bit of pride in their work, which is obviously why they do not work for the local council.it makes you wonder what these people are actually paid for. I don't see any benefit from my council tax, and don't even start me on the potholes round our way.I bet if the people who make this container were put in charge you'd see a difference to the roads straight away.Anyway, i have found this is easily big enough to fit at least two standard sized tins of Cross & Blackwell All day Breakfast in it.I have also tried seeing how it works with a range of other items - beans and sausage, macaroni cheese, tins of plain beans or even that old favorite spaghetti bolognese.Obviously I have not sampled the 'own brand' products that you get from food banks like Aldi - but then why waste a fine microwavable container on such inferior goods? I mean I dread to think how a tin of 'own brand' beans would stack up in a head to head with a trusty tin of Heinz.It's be no contest really - like a boxing match between a professional heavyweight and one of those fops you get on Strictly Come Prancing.I reckon somebody like Anthony Joshua would be the equivalent of a tin of All Day Breakfast.If I had to personify a tin of Beans with Pork Sausages then I'd go for Wladimir Klitschko, and I reckon Tyson Fury would be a tin of Big Soup.Deontay Wilder is a tasty fighter, so I reckon he'd be a tin of Spaghetti Bolognese, whilst Nicola Adams would carry off being a tin of Beef Ravioli with a plum.A tin of 'own brand' would probably be somebody like Danny Dyer, but cost a little more.I heard that apparently the bloke behind Aldi and the bloke behind Lidl are actually brothers who fell out. I can only presume that they argued about who could get the lowest standard of clientele.Anyway by my logic this container would easily fit a tin of Anthony Joshua and have ample room for two tins of Klitschko or tins of Deontay. You might even get a tin of Joshua and a couple of tins of Deontay in there, which would be very satisfying.I wouldn't mix a tin of Tyson Fury in with a tin of Nicola Adams though, as obviously a tin of Tyson Fury just wouldn't complement Ms. Adams' rich tomato sauce.I definitely would buy another of these if Heinz did a bigger range of boxers in tins.

Brilliant. Use them when batch cooking curries and stews. 2 portions in each, pop in the freezer until required, defrost and then straight in the microwave. Perfect. Very high quality, I have loads of these and expect to get more.

Leaks all over the place.But the the box is sturdy. Does the job. But if your food has some liquidy substance the chance of it leaking is a 100%.If you are looking for just regular dry lunch this is your friend.Adios!
