Maureen is a powerful and prolific author and spiritual teacher. She is gifted in taking complex spiritual concepts and making them practical, and this book is a testament to that gift. This book is full of case studies to help you understand why you would want to access the Akashic records, as well as the step-by-step instructions on how to do so. There are also practice opportunities in the book, where you can compare guidance from your Higher Self with insights received from the Akashic Records. If you are curious about the Akashic Records, this is an excellent resource!

I came across this book and found out the Linda was teaching a course in my area the following week. I signed up for the class and ordered this book and read it by the time class began. I absolutely love the Pathway Prayer and the simplicity of going into the Records. It is not complicated at all. Linda does recommend that parts of the Prayer be read out loud even with clients, but I don't have a problem with this and either do my clients. In fact, many join in with me to give thanks during the Closing Prayer. It is also my experience that reading the words elevates my experience, so I agree with Linda that the Prayer should be read instead of memorized. I read my Records on a regular basis and I have been given such amazing insight and guidance. I really look forward to the readings and really value the information I receive. In my opinion, intuitive and psychic readings do not compare to Akashic Readings. After this first class, I immediately signed up for a year long program to study under Linda for an advanced certification and teacher's certification. I look forward to training others on this process and helping others benefit from this process. Thank you, Linda!

I've studied with Sonia Choquette, and am Level 2 Certified. I am also a Certified Practitioner with Linda Howe, through a workshop I attended after reading this book. I have been taught Sonia's simplistic yet very effective method of entering the Akashic Records. I use Sonia's method, coupled with part of Linda's method, when I do professional readings. I write this saying that Linda Howe was the first to get so in depth about the records. I write this, saying, to explore all methods, and be sure to get an understanding of what is involved, by reading this book. Read this book with an open mind, open heart, and no ego. Do know that this isn't the only book you'll want to read, but this will start you in a direction. Linda Howe enters the Akashic Records through a 12 stanza prayer, not easy to memorize. I like Linda's prayer, I can feel a consciousness shift, but I can't stand not memorizing something I'm supposed to, for one on one readings. Linda never says to memorize it, and I do memorize things, (phone numbers, etc...), but for some reason, the Akashic Record's prayer in this book, I always have to turn to the book or my typed paper to recite it. I don't find that professional or comfortable, so I use what I've easily memorized, with less wording. The Universe wants simplicity. The first chapters give you a solid background, and knowledge. The next chapters go into properly accessing the records, and certain guidelines. Throughout the book, there are side lines quoted. That isn't needed, and diverted my attention. The sidelines reminded me of advertisements, for some reason. This part of the book goes into Akashic records on animals, plants, government, and public buildings. The back chapters are devoted to healing in the Akashic Records, and doing readings for others. No where in the book is the third eye mentioned, neither are the devoted guides who do infact, have names. Masters, Teachers, Loved Ones are the only guides taught in this method. Linda teaches about them, without names. These differentials are vague, and there's probably billions of ways to enter the Akashic Records. But again, this book is worth the read if you have an open mind. If you want to do Akashic Records professionally, this is a good background book of techniques.

This was the most profound book I came across. I didn't even deliberately try to find it, this book found me. If you are deciding to buy this book, answer the call. All my life I felt alone, but after learning about the Akashic Records and learning how to read my own records, I feel like I have spiritual friends who I can ask for advice and get back deep, nurturing, and soul inspiring guidance 24/7. This book is a gateway into the Akashic Records and it does an excellent job laying out what the records are, how to access them, what you can experienced when you first connect, and so many other things. It walks you through the steps in a compassionate way and then when you finally enter the records you're greeted with warm you've never felt before. YOU HAVE TO GET THIS BOOK IF YOU FOUND YOURSELF CURIOUS ABOUT IT. Best choice of my life. I have so much clarity about my soul. I have also read for clients with this book and through it's teaching my clients have experienced deep healing. MUST HAVE FOR SPIRITUALIST, READERS, AND ANYONE INTERESTED IN THE ESOTERIC.

I researched far and wide to choose my first book on the Akashic Records and I'm glad I chose this one. The author's writing puts forth a very loving, compassionate vibe. Her explanations and instructions are easy to understand and follow without losing any of the profundity of the subject. Though I plan to read all her books, you will really feel confident to read your own Records, and those of others, after reading this book. The only thing I wish is this: Linda Howe tells us that the information from the Records can come to us in different ways, whether a verbal narrative, or sounds, colors, symbols, feelings, etc. But the only examples she gives of Akashic readings are in a conversational verbal form. I would have liked to see some examples of actual reading in which the information is conveyed in another form. Other than that, this book was the perfect beginning to my Akashic Records study.

A thought-provoking read, and a great introduction to the Akashic records. This book was recommended to me by a friend. I found it informative and easy to read. I hope I can muster the courage to explore my own records one day.
