So many cute doodles!
I adore this book. Every day I look forward to trying a new doodle. It’s fun and the doodles are simple. The only thing that would make this book better is if it were spiral bound.

Very simple and not quite as effective as expected
I'm modifying my earlier review (below). While I still consider the art in this book to be a bit odd, if you follow the book daily, it does give you an opportunity to draw something new every day and that aspect is fun and a good habit to get into. First, I must say I'm an adult, so maybe I am too old for the format of this book. I thought it would give some good exercises on drawing every day things and animals in a cute manner, but the designs just don't do it for me. Some things are cute, but others are just odd. And the exercises seem to lack instruction. It illustrate a few steps, but doesn't give a lot of basic info about what you are drawing. I know others have commented this is a great book, so take my review with a grain of salt. I guess I was looking for something different.

Adorable and Easy to Follow
My daughter just turned four and has developed a insatiable desire to draw every free minute she of the day. I've been lining our table with butcher paper and letting her go. I bought her several step-by-step drawing books recently but this one is MY favorite and one that I will sit down and draw with her. The drawings are adorable and with several ideas for each day of the year, you get a lot of inspiration in one little book. As other reviewers mentioned, the actual book doesn't hold open very well because of the thick pages they printed this book on so a good book stand might be my next purchase.

Daily sketch time
I bought with the hopes of learning to sketch better. Just need to find the time. Book is great, so many items to learn. Great book for an artist or planner.

Great how to and inspiration
Best instruction I have ever found. I am a true beginner. This book is super simple to start drawing. Images can be combined to make scenes. Sketch with a pencil, then color and outline. Gentle encouragement is included. My skills have grown faster with this method than any other I have tried. I am now able to transfer the skills to drawing items not in the book. Sat with my grandkids grade 2 and they also were able to follow and the most hesitant artist started producing many drawings and expanding them within a day. Success!!!

Simplistic. Tiny illustrations.
Possibly for preteens. Not really what I expected.

Very inspirational
As an artist, I always look other people ideas, products, published materials. This book might seem simple, and illustrator did great job with simple plain drawings to get you inspired on every day sketching. It's very simple, straight forward creative ideas. Nice book.
