Perfect Macaron Baking Mat

I think this mat is amazing, just put this in a tray and cooked smoothly my food, also it was easy to clean and do not deform after using.

I’ve purchased six Silpat mats across full, half, and quarter sheet sizes, and they’ve become indispensable across baking, roasting, and prep. Heat distribution is even and consistent, and cleanup is simple—just rinse and air dry. They perform reliably at high oven temps without warping or sticking. Usage Notes: They’re ideal for anyone looking to eliminate parchment or foil. That said, durability hinges entirely on conscious use: sharp objects are a no-go. Even steel turners or light knife contact will damage the surface. At 2 mm thick, they offer solid grip and insulation, but no cut resistance. Watch the Sizing: One recurring issue is mat-to-pan mismatch. Several half-sheet variants appear standard but don’t fit flush—some curl onto the rim or sit within the burr edge of the sheet pan. Silpat doesn’t clearly differentiate between US and European sizing, so measure your pans before purchase to avoid this. Bottom Line: Exceptional for heat consistency, cleanup, and general kitchen use—just avoid sharp tools and verify sizing. Once you do, it’s likely you’ll end up owning several. They are not necessarily cheap, but I expect several hundred uses per mat at minimum before I see noticeable wear.

I absolutely love this Silpat baking mat. It’s stain and burn-resistant, handles high heat beautifully, and cleans up so easily. Nothing sticks, and it’s been a game-changer for baking. I’m already planning to buy more - highly recommend.

Absolutely worth it! I run a small business and can't do without these. They lasted without sticking about 18months with repeated use. Very easy to clean and bake on them all day and clean them at the end of the day. I try to catch them on sale because they are expensive. My Pound Cake Cookies are delicate and need a flexible cookie mate, this is perfect!

TBH I was super sketchy about ordering these through Amazon because of all the horror stories people testified about receiving Chinese counterfeit product. I decided to take a chance and order two of the cookie baking mats because I already had two legit regular Silpats I could use to compare, and I was relieved after a little bit of investigation. I compared the mesh spacing, the thickness and texture of the silicone, the letter stenciling and over-spray, the cut corners, the excess silicone cut-off points at the corners, and painstakingly scrutinized the packaging they came in checking for image blur, misspellings, and other factors. There was a ever so slight difference between the Silpats I already had, but I am convinced this is just a matter of different tooling used to make these newer units. I have used these new Silpat Cookie Baking Mats to cook more than 500 cookies over the holidays. They have held up excellently. They even seem to not hold on to as much oil/grease as my older ones. I wash them ever time before and after each use, and I store them rolled with print side out (old drafting habits) between paper towels. I am very happy with the circle spacing pattern on the sheets and it totally justified the cost for me. I am an avid baker the pattern layout helps me maximize my production which saves time. Great product! My macarons didn’t stick, it’s easier to get uniform sizes, and it’s easy to clean. Only downside is that it only has one size circle, and it produces cookies a little bigger than I’m used to making. I haven’t heard any complaints from those eating them, though. 😊

It's great - but the circles are too big for what I need. it would be great if they made another one for small profiteroles with smaller circles. (only one I found with smaller circles was not silpat and had a horrible chemical smell so I returned it.

I've recently started baking macarons and was using baking paper with a template which was working fine but I decided to try out this mat from recommendations as I thought it would be easier to have an actual macarom mat. So glad I did as the silpat macaron mat is fantastic!! I found my macarons took a little bit longer in the oven than when I baked on a tray but not a problem for me. I plan to buy a second mat now.
