This works excellently! It was really inexpensive but sturdier (while still being pretty light weight) that the last one I had that I paid more for that broke immediately. We like to use it to crisp up tops of food as been as heating up a hot poker for beer. It's easy to use too.

For this price its one of the most useful general house and cooking torches I've owned. Not having to fidget with refilling butane torches and not having the bulk of a full sized torch is just super handy. I've had it for a year and it still works just fine no leaking or any issues with the trigger. Obviously all piezo igniters will stop working eventually so just have a torch sparker or a lighter on hand when that does happen.

Bought this to use in the garden for cutting weed barrier, works just like it should. Nice control on the flames. You can have a fine flame or more of a wide flame.Snaps on to container well

28NOV24 Unbelievable! It's leaking at the canister already, just one day later. I'm sending it back. This thing is more dangerous than I thought. 27NOV24 If you purchase one of these PLEASE make sure there's no butane leak where the canister attaches. Upon assembly, I could actually hear the leaking butane! This is a very hazardous condition. It's a fire hazard, a burn hazard, as well as an explosion hazard. Disconnect the canister immediately if there is a leak. You can use kids Soap Bubbles to detect a leak, especially for a small leak. I'm an engineer and I found the problem to be a very poor fit for the two O-rings that seal the canister. Part of the problem was poorly made parts. I had to remove metal flashing (excessive metal left behind in the production process) as well as use a silicone vacuum grease to allow the O-rings to reliably seal. After doing this the seal works OK. DUE TO THE POOR CONSTRUCTION, I DO NOT INTEND TO LEAVE THE TORCH ATTACHED TO THE CANISTER, EVER.

I bought one about 2 years ago and use it almost everyday with no fail. It's very solid. Best nine bucks I've ever spent. Lighting charcoal chimney, propane barbecues, propane heaters, outdoor fish smoker. Heating stuck bolts to get them loose. Getting fire started in my fire pit. Lighting cigarettes when everyone steals my lighters. This one is too big to walk off with😀

This works great for anything that I have to do. The flame is nice and powerful. Does the job quickly.

Très bon chalumeau qui permet de régler l'intensité de la flamme. Ravie d'avoir retrouvé ce produit sur Amazon, précédemment acheté aux US. L'embout à encocher sur la bonbonne semble cependant plus fragile qu'auparavant.

Finally had an opportunity to use this product and I was very impressed indeed. Did a couple of beef roasts in the sous-vide cooker and then I used this torch to finish them off. It was easy to use and operate, it delivered a powerful and direct flame that could be adjusted just the way I needed. In a few short minutes I was easily able to achieve the intended results, a nice outer char on both the roasts... they looked... and tasted... amazing ! Definitely eager to do more sous vide cooking and finish things up with this torch. Highly recommended.
