I Love all Dove products and had never seen this product before. Now it has formed part of my daily shower routine. Makes skin feel soft & hydrated and smells amazing. Would highly recommend

Dove at its best.
I have used Dove for a lot of years and love everything about this product, that is until I changed my view on ingredients and preferred more oils, and more organic and free from all nastys. You receive 3 x 283g screw top plastic pots of dove not one pot for the price £27.99, which is roughly £9.33 each one. Now from experience dove has always nourished my skin and the usual dove scent.. This pot is quite big, please be aware I did not need an awful lot on my warm wet sponge to complete all my body, and I am tall, so a lot to cover. I used the cream to shave my legs too. Yes the tub is lovely and soft, however what I did notice the scent did not linger on my body. Not sure if that is a good thing or not because it’s like perfume, I cannot smell it, however others can. So in the dove stakes I don’t know. But I would have liked the lingering smell. Could be down to the ingredients this is classed as a floral scent, however I do not agree with that, doesn’t smell to me like flowers. Can be used on the face and the whole of the body, but I haven’t as this maybe too rich The ingredients I like as usual Hyaluronic acid present, which is a posh word for water and Moringa oil which I use regularly. I do believe the cream does act as a moisturiser barrier, the skin is soft afterwards. Mainly useful for dry skin, but I am normal skin type and works fine. This is for the shower and to use in the bath, or washing the face in the morning. Very smooth and silky but lightweight, spreads easily. I do feel the price is steep even though there are three tubs, but in defence, one tub will last ages as only need a smidge. I like it a lot, and would not hesitate buying some in the future when I run out. I find this a lot better than basic shower gel that strips the moisture from the skin. ⭐️Thank you to the seller ⭐️I hope my review helps

Dove Body Pre-Cleanse Shower Butter – Smells Incredible
This pack of x3 Dove Body Love Moisture Boost Shower Butter comes in a plain cardboard box. Each screw top tub contains 283g and is aimed at restoring dry and dehydrated skin as the first part of a two-step skin care regime (the second step being the cleanser in the same range). The body butter is infused with both hyaluronic acid serum and moringa oil as well as vitamin C – I do consider these as face care ingredients rather than overall body skincare and I do wonder if it is just a waste as you are meant to just wash it away before applying the next stage. The body butter doesn’t contain any sulfates and definitely did make my skin feel soft and moisturised, but I did use it as part of the two-step process, so it is difficult to know if the first step is strictly necessary. The body butter itself smells incredible, it is very fragranced and personally I love this! It lingers on the skin for a good amount of time afterwards. The body butter is a good consistency, but I did find that when I was in the shower scooping the body butter out of the tub it was quite difficult not to drop any was quite difficult. I would have preferred a pump dispensing system (if possible) as it was almost impossible to not get water in the tub whilst in the shower. Priced at £27.99 with a £4 off voucher valid until 30th November 2022 which works out at £8 / tub this is definitely not an inexpensive product. However, considering the size of these tubs, it should last a while and it provides a luxurious experience. I would say this is reasonably priced but is a treat but since I use Dove bath and shower products anyway, I will definitely be repurchasing from the Body Love range particularly as it is PETA approved!

Divine smell and goodness for the skin!
I ordered the Dove Pre-Cleanse Shower Butter together with the Dove Body Cleanser, as recommended. My mum and I have always loved Dove shower gels, body creams, and lotions. This body butter is destined for dehydrated skin, boosting the skin’s moisture and fortifying its protective barrier. It contains magical anti-ageing and moisturising ingredients, including moringa oil and hyaluronic acid. I actually take hyaluronic acid supplements, so I am happy to support my well-being from inside and out. It is easy to apply in the shower; you massage it into your wet skin. And you follow with the body cleanser. However, this is where I had to experiment 😊. The first evening, I applied the body butter and rinsed it off before using the cleanser. Tonight, I applied the body butter but did not rinse it off. I pumped the cleanser on my body puff and used it directly over the butter. Oh, well …! It started lathering very well, a luxurious later like in a spa. The smell is divine and suspends you in a magical world. My skin felt relaxed, soft and happy after the shower. Now, whether you want to use any body cream or lotion afterwards is your choice. I did not use anything the first time, and my skin maintained that relaxed feeling. Tonight, I applied a light Dove body lotion, which also feels magical. Experiment and see what makes you feel the best. If you do not have the time for it, you can stick to the two combined Dove butter and cleanser, and your skin will still be soft and moisturised due to the serum contained. The containers/ tubs are of a considerable size, and you do not need to use much product. The effect and smell are spectacular when the butter is combined with the cleanser without a rinse in between. I am always happy to recommend Dove, and this body butter makes no exception. I wholeheartedly endorse it!

I really love both versions of the shower cleansing butter by Dove. I generally do a quick rinse of my body, turn the shower off, then I use the cleansing butter first, before using anything else. The body butter is thick, it doesn't have a lather per say but it does go on really well and easily if you rinse first. I have tried it dry, just to see how it worked, and it does work similarly but I ended up using more product without a lot of added benefit, so I suggest a quick rinse first. The scent is light but very nice. After doing a full body lather, I generally then move onto starting my hair, just to give the body butter a couple of minutes to sit on my skin before I move to my choice of shower gel, at which time I just lather and shower as normal. I do follow my after shower with a good moisturizer, as normal. The results are incredibly hydrated and soft skin. I would say that using this product ideally once or twice a week. At twice a week, I can feel the extra softness all the time. At once a week, it starts to wear down around day 4 or 5 and needs a refresh, but that is a good long time for that extra bit of moisture that makes my skin feel healthier and especially in the winter where some of us deal with dry indoor heating, it effectively removes that winter itch for me. I cannot say how much it would help for those that face additional skin issues. I do have a very light eczema that is generally well controlled mostly by my hydration routine which does include this body butter. The biggest issue for me is that this product has two iterations, one of which is always out of stock and the other is sometimes also out of stock. I'm not sure if the product isn't popular. I feel that if more people tried this, after using it they would want to keep it on hand as it makes my skin feel so good. I do hope that enough people are using it to make it worth it for Dove to keep making it as I haven't seen any other products that are similar.

I like to switch up my products. I usually run out of something and decide to try something new for the next go round. However, I was showering recently and noticed I was getting low on this stuff. I am nowhere near ready to switch it up when it comes to this stuff. I just love it! I think it has become a staple item in my shower routine. Which means, they will probably stop making it. That's what always seems to happen. You find something you love and then they stop making it. I highly recommend this this. It smells really fresh and clean. It's silky but very cleansing and it just makes you feel extra pampered in the shower. Update: I am on my third container and I still love this stuff. It’s honestly so unlike me to keep buying the same product over and over but this one is just… magical. lol I am not sponsored by dove. Haha. This stuff is just really good. In my option. Some people might think I’m hyping it up too much but I just love it.

Misleading advertisement. Almost 60 dollars paid for 3 but only received 1. Not eligible for return or refund. I feel scammed. I'm extremely disappointed.

Absolutely love this. The texture takes adjustment but once you're used to it, you'll love it. It's very hydrating from the humectants. I love that it's thick enough to seal in moisture from previous essences, toners, and moisturizers used on your body skin. I use this as a last step, as my final sealant to occlude all my moisture in. The scent is nice at first but then starts to be a little "sickly", despite still smelling clean? It's a specific Dove scent that you'll recognize, but idk, this scent smells a bit off. I don't notice the scent at all on my body though so it doesn't bother me. It's a part of my body care routine. I use it as a moisturizer, not as a pre-cleanse. That's just marketing fluff. The price is amazing for such great quality.

This stuff is awesome. I find i don’t need to use it everyday, I use it every other day and at night only. Since using this, my skin feels much softer, more supple and has a nice sheen and glow to it. I rub it into my skin, let it sit for a minute or so, rinse it off and then I follow it with Dove soap bar and moisturize with Palmers Body Oil. This is the BEST for shaving and my razor glides like butter. I will say that this is expensive to use everyday (at least with me), but every other day, I find it will last me about a month. I’ll probably use it a little more often now that winter is coming to my part of the world. Investing in good skin care is worth it and this is a good price point for what you get, making luxury skin care affordable and proving you don’t need to spend 100’s for a good product! A must buy.
