I bought this because my son had seen version of this on YouTube. Let me just say 20/10 I would buy this again ! It is so much fun, it’s easy to use. For the price it is great quality. The only issue I have is that the little rope/strings get tangled easy when my son tries to unwrap it, otherwise BEST purchase of the summer. When we play with it inside we set timers for 5-10 mins to see if we can keep it going that long, arms get tired quick, but the kids love using it outside with water booms inside of it !

The WAHU Splash game is pure nostalgic fun with a modern twist! I remember playing this exact game—or something just like it—back in the early ’90s with my brother and sister. It’s one of those old-school games that never goes out of style. The second we set it up, all those memories came rushing back, and now I get to share that same excitement with my own kids, which makes it even better. The gameplay is simple but genius: two players each hold two handles connected by a string, and you send a water balloon flying back and forth, trying not to let it explode. It’s fast-paced, full of laughs, and surprisingly competitive. Every round ends with someone getting soaked, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Setup is quick, the handles and string are sturdy, and any regular water balloons work just fine. It’s perfect for backyard fun, birthday parties, or just beating the heat with a little friendly chaos. If you’re looking for a throwback game that still holds up today, WAHU Splash is it. Fun, simple, and packed with good old-fashioned joy.

This is a great toy for hot days, our team guys loved it during a graduation party out in the country the little ones had a blast while the older ones were having water balloon fights. For me and silver others it brought back memories of Being Young when we used to play tetherball off of an old tire and rim on a pole at home Zim Zam yard darts and other fun games as such.

We had a something like this in gym class in the 70's, but it was longer, heavier, and didn't involve water balloons. Even though it's less substantial, this is long enough to be fun, and sliding the "ball" back and forth across the ropes is enjoyable enough, though it needs the added weight of the water balloon to move properly. The water balloon aspect is the fun begins. Like a water balloon toss, somebody's going to get wet, and it's only a matter of time until you find out who it's going to be. The only real issue that we have with this is that the "ball", which screws together (2 halves) with a 1/8th or so turn, is too flexible and comes open too easily. Sometimes, the water balloon breaks while inside the ball, splattering water at a player. Other times, the ball falls open and dumps the water balloon on the ground. It would be nice if the ball held together, either with a stiffer ball or a more secure locking mechanism. We eventually came up with new rules for a loose balloon. Sometimes, we agree to put it back together and start over. Sometimes, we agree that we can pick it up and throw it at each other. Another option is change to a game of water balloon toss if the balloon comes loose. The important thing is to turn it into something fun instead of a disappointment.

Unfortunately things these days are made even more cheaply. I don’t recall the one from my childhood ever opening up so easily. As soon as we started to get it going the strings from the handles came off so I had to re knot it and tie the string around the handle and knot it again to keep it on. It was very hard for my 7 year old daughter to keep it going, again not like my childhood one. I remember being able to play this and zoom it back and forth easily with my mom. It is still a good buy just a bit frustrating at first. The main ball cage seems to bust open very easily like it doesn’t latch all the way.

The strings on this frayed immediately and it did not work well. Wouldn’t recommend.

Package says ages 8+ which is definitely true! May be too hard for little ones to play, but is fun to have them stand next to a parent and still get splashed! Fun game!

Kids have lots of fun with this. Good arm workout as well.

You insert a filled waterballoon in the zoom ball and clip it back together, then try to not get soaked when the balloon pops. Lots of fun with kids. I purchased to use in aquatherapy session underwater but the standard version is much better to use submerged for strength building.

Die Qualität ist gut es hält alles aus was im spielerischenbereich liegt. Der Spaß steht aber hier an oberster Stelle, es ist ein Spiel für groß und klein. Es gibt immer was zu lachen.

Il gioco è stato regalato da mio nipote di 10 anni ad un suo amico. E' un gioco da utilizzare all'aperto e i due bambini che subito lo hanno messo in funzione, si sono divertiti molto. Al momento direi che è un gioco estivo che in questo periodo si può usare anche sulla spiaggia senza alcun pericolo per terze persone.

Leggendo alcune recensioni negative, ero un po' perplessa nell'acquistarlo. Invece devo dire che il gioco è fatto molto bene e funziona perfettamente, se usato correttamente. Le mie figlie si divertono un sacco a giocarci in giardino, e ora lo portano anche al lido per divertirsi con le loro amiche. Lo consiglio assolutamente😉
