My Cat Loves this!
My Cat and I Love this! It's so easy to clean! I can order extra filters on a subscription so they'll get here when I need them to. And the water looks nice and clear and clean everytime! The app has messed up a few times, for example, after I clean it and put in a new filter and I reset it in the app. It'll at first say I have 14 days until I need to clean and replace the filter again. But sometimes, and not all the time but sometimes it will act like I didn't hit reset when I go back into the app and it'll say my cleaning and filter is overdue. So if you want to have an accurate date on when you need to clean it again? I just close the app after resetting it and reopen it an hr or 2 later to check if it's still reset or not. Because atleast then you can reset it that day. Rather than the next day and it being a day off. I hope that made a little sense. Anyway, other than the app just being funny sometimes. It's a really good fountain and it tracks my cats drinking habits. And I just use the free version, which still tells me when to clean and replace the filter, and how much water my cat drinks during the day. It's also nice that it tells me if the fountain is disconnected or not synced and also it tells me when the water is low and needs to be refilled. Which is really nice! I say it's pretty worth the price for a fancy water fountain for your animal. It's very Durable and can't be knocked over, easy to clean, plugs into the wall easily and has a long cord, it's very quiet and you can't even tell it's there most of the time. So if you're asking my opinion and experience? I'd say I recommend this. And It's been great!

9.5/10! Love it! Worth the price for your best friend
Great fountain! Update 60+ days later- Still silent, as long as it’s on a flat surface and clean. My cat kept switching from the spout to the edge, where it spilled out and but they sell a spill guard for it! So I guess this is a thing with many cats. It’s $9, and works very well, shield the sides from your cat drinking off the ledge. Still love the fountain, love being able to see how much my cat drinks, and how it reminds me to clean and refill the water. Love it still and no issues. Update 30 days later- The noise sometimes gets louder or a slight ticking sound, and I have to shake it a little so the piece inside readjusts to make it stop, but it’s still pretty dang silent. Seems as long as you keep it clean, and it’s perfectly flat it will stay silent. My cat stopped using the spout part after a week or so, and started drinking from the very edge, so water would spill out on the floor and under the base. I’d have to dry underneath it everyday. I removed the spout and used the fountain as a bubbler which seemed to fix the issue, but after a week or so, again started drinking from the edge. I added the spout back, and again she started drinking from the spout. Trying different things like elevating it to see if it will make a difference. Edit: I’ll add a video of the whirring sound I mentioned below, but again, unless you’re pushing your face right next to it, you won’t hear it. You can see when I film above the fountain it’s virtually silent. A foot away, you won’t hear it. My cat didn’t want to use her other plastic fountain anymore for some reason, she would only drink out of a random cup I would purposefully leave out for her. I set up a camera near that area and noticed she was only drinking maybe once a day. Which isn’t enough. So I decided to give this rather expensive fountain a try and I’m so glad I did. My cat loves it! Why? I’m not sure and I don’t care. She is drinking up to 6 times a day now and I’m so happy. I thought she would be put off with the falling water from the spout so for the first week I just left it off to act as a sort of bubbler fountain. I added the spout shortly after and she loved it more. So good news! The fountain is right near my bed, and it’s very quiet. Not completely silent, if you put your face right next to it, you can hear the whirring but it’s so low that you can’t hear it from a foot away. It had a very classy and has a nice look so it complements the room nicely, and it’s easy to clean. My only complaint is taking off the top part to add a new filter, it’s a bit scary because you think you’re going to break it. I’ve only changed the filter once since I bought it so I can’t say if it eventually will or not. Will update if it does! Haha The app is pretty good, as long as it on a flat surface, it will notify you when your cat drinks. I know that’s accurate because I have the camera set up still and it has recorded the same times. As to how accurate the intake amount is, I’m not too sure, that would be hard to keep track of, but it does tell you how long your furry friend has been drinking and logs the time and also if they have met the water i take goals you can set. Besides that, I love this fountain and I’d gladly recommend it. The stainless steel bowl part is a good touch as well, as cats tend to get terrible chin acne if plastic bowls aren’t cleaned daily, so this is much easier to handle. I rinse it down every 2 weeks. You won’t be disappointed. Filters are cheap too.

Great water fountain
This water fountain works very well. It is quiet and easy to set up. My cats like drinking from it and the water stays clean. The app monitoring is also convenient. Overall, a great product.

Great fountain, questionable monitoring
Edit: the gasket/bezel breakage in some pictures happens if you pull the filter cover above the tray straight up. It’s also very hard to remove that way. Unfortunately, the instructions and videos don’t show you how to remove it properly—they just skip past that part. To remove it correctly: Hook your index fingers into the water drain holes on each side and gently pull them towards you. This unlatches the front of the cover without pulling at the part in the bottom. Swing up the front of the top cover then remove the back. When you replace the cover after changing the filter, hook the back first then snap down the front. Not doing this right is part of why my first fountain started getting very noisy over time. I was pulling the cover straight up because I didn’t know any better, and it allowed the bottom portion under the tray to get loose so water dripped around the filter. PETLIBRO should document how to remove the cover. Original: I’ve been using this fountain for a few weeks now. I love the fountain itself, but I don’t trust the app monitoring. I was using a competitor’s fountain with a corded pump and a filter that bisected the reservoir, and that was such a pain to deal with I found myself shirking on maintenance. Having the cordless pump and the reservoir be wide open makes refills and cleaning a snap. I also like the big wide bowl so there’s no whisker fatigue and that the cat’s chin rarely touches plastic because the bowl insert is steel. It’s a shame the spout and filter housing is still plastic, though. The pump itself is almost completely silent. You can hear pulsing if you put your ear right up next to it but it’s inaudible from more than a foot or two away. That part is nice, as my previous model had a distinct hum you could hear across the room. But while the pump is much quieter than my previous fountain, the water action does make fairly constant trickling sounds, coming either from the small waterfall it creates on top or from the return path into the reservoir. I took the fountain apart and carefully reassembled it a few times, and made sure it was completely full to the max line, but no change. I ultimately had to move it out of my office into the kitchen because the trickles were distracting. On the plus side, the pulsing water makes very visible ripples and I suspect the trickling noises attract the cat and remind him to drink, even if it did bug me. The one major criticism I have is the app monitoring. Either my cat is part camel and gets by on 4oz a day or, as I suspect, the app itself is missing about half his hydration. Supporting this theory, I actually watched it go almost a full day missing all of his sessions, along with intermittent “network error” messages coming from the PETLIBRO app on my phone. This wasn’t a WiFi issue—the app could see the fountain just fine, and immediately noted me taking it off the base, dumping and re-adding water, etc. His hydration visits that I personally saw just never showed up in the app that day. I think PETLIBRO has a back end internet service that has to be up and accessible exactly when the water is consumed so that it can be logged (ie the fountain has no way to store it and send it later) and it was down at the time. That was probably the cause of the network errors on my phone’s PETLIBRO app. Maybe that service is also intermittently missing sessions all the time, or maybe the scale in the base just isn’t that accurate within fractions of an oz and that’s adding up to a large error. But there’s simply no way a 10# cat on a dry food diet drinks only 4-5oz a day. I’ve reset and recalibrated the scale multiple times, and while the app always notices my refills and reports a reasonable water weight for them, this problem persists. The other criticism I have is that the included instruction manual *never* mentions calibration, either as a setup step or a troubleshooting procedure, and it has zero information on how to disassemble the pump for cleaning—even though the cleaning brush comes in the box. For that information you either need to check listing information or go to PETLIBRO’s website. Yet, PETLIBRO says calibrate first thing. Since I didn’t even know I needed to do that, as I went by the manual, my initial setup was uncalibrated. After reading the listing more closely I reset the fountain, pulled the filter, and did it all from scratch again, but who knows if that’s part of why things are inaccurate? PETLIBRO needs to update their manual with *all* the needed usage info and not rely on people discovering it elsewhere. That’s especially true for *setup* steps. So I recommend the fountain itself, but consider buying the “dumb” one that doesn’t use the app, doesn’t need calibration, etc. It’s much cheaper, and I suspect it’ll give just about as much value. It’s a shame the cheap model doesn’t come with the steel tray or I’d simply say buy it, not consider it.

Inaccurate
Edit: it wasn't the pump, I forgot I complained about that. Was the filter that goes in the pump. My pump did start cracking though. And I found out their warranty doesn't care because they actually tell you you should buy a new pump every 3ish months. Crazy. They did send me a new one, but yeah. At least they pumps aren't super expensive. How the issue is, if anything happens to this pump, the spare they sell seems to be the same as the original pump, and I like the pump they sent better. It's easier to take apart for cleaning. 10 month update: the pump stopped working. It puts out a drizzle of water so weather I can't even have the lid on the fountain. Now I have to buy something else. HIGHLY discourage purchasing. Two months edit: others said that the plastic for the fountain itself that covers the filter breaks easily. Considering it's been just over 2 months, it is REALLY easy to break. It's not like I was rough with it. But it won't clip back on anymore. I can set it in place, but I have a younger boy now who is a bit of a roughhouser and knocks it aside constantly. (Hoping he grows out of that) So between the unit as a measure, it's inaccurate. (I'd complain that it doesn't support multiple cats, but that's okay, they released one last month that costs EVEN more) it's only functionally useful skill then should be to inform you the water is low. Except it doesn't even do that. The "water low" notification only appears after you refill it. Useless. And now part of it is broken. In terms of effort, this is one of the easiest fountains I've ever had to clean. So few books and cranies. In terms of sturdiness and functionality? Absolute rubbish. I love the fountain, not for it's garbage sensors, but for how easy it is to clean and maintain. I'm still mad I misread the description and got this one rather than the rechargable battery one. But you know, I figured at least it would let me know when it was low on water. Haha. No. It does not. It lealts me know after I pull it off the bas to clean and refill. Even if it was accurate, if you have more than one cat it's pointless. Anyway, it's expensive for no reason. Should only be charging as much as the battery one cause this thing is ridiculous.

Easy to setup & clean
So far good & works fine, easy setup. Easy to clean & my cat likes it. It’s always plugged in. Guess u can unplug it & move fountain & charged base to another location. May try putting it out on my 3-season porch for my cat wants it gets warmer.

Excellent water fountain for cats
We love this for our 3 cats. They are drinking a lot more water, because it doesn’t run out like bowls did in the past. It’s easy to pair with the app to see how often it’s being used and to see if it needs to be refilled and for reminders to clean and replace filters. We clean it once a week and replace filters every 2 weeks so that it will hopefully last along time. We’ve had it for 9+ months. It didn’t take our cats long to get used to it as it’s quiet. They love having continuously flowing water - similar to drinking from the bathroom faucet which they used to crave.

It's OK
I loved this fountain - at first. Overall it works well, however the last month it's not recognizing that the tank is full, doesn't recognize when my pet drinks and therefore doesn't send notifications. I've tried resetting it (unplugging, plugging back in), re-calibration, and unbinding and still not recognizing water and when pet drinks. Works fine, but to not have the features working that I wanted it for are annoying.
