Im not super big into collecting comic books (I have a few, but nothing that would require me to buy this large a pack of board backs). Instead, I mainly use these for my sewing fabrics. I wrap my fabrics around them to keep them uniform and organized. Has worked wonderfully for me, and is the perfect size for my 12x12 Cubbies. Great value for the price, would definitely recommend for my fellow crafty girlies.

So, I'm NOT a quilter actually and instead am a comic book reader and use these boards as they were intended (no disrespect to those who use it for fabric, I just find it amusing most of the reviews are on that use instead of being used for comics). I find these boards to be perfect in their design. How can a small piece of board be any better than any other you may ask? Well, for starters, these boards were cut very well. By that I mean the edges are clean whereas some other boards will have edge artifacts and slivers of board sticking of the sides that will flake off on the floor or into the comic bag as you place the board into the bag. Not life threatening, obviously, but who the hell wants to vacuum up a bunch of comic board droppings? The thickness of the board is also perfect as far as I see, being thick enough to protect single issues from bending and also thick enough to withstand and support trade paper backs (TPBs). They are not so thick, however, to take up more room than necessary. Anyone who owns a decent number of comic books and use bags/boards to store them can attest that the bag and board add a fairly significant amount of thickness, reducing the number than can fit into a comic box. NOTE: Just to double check, this is for CURRENT comic book sizes. BCW also provides silver age BCW Backing Boards, 7 x 10 1/2", Silver and golden age BCW Supplies Golden Comic Backing Boards (100 Count) as well.

Got for storing fabric. Works well with plastic alligator clips. Didn't know they had magazine size when I started reorganizing my fabric stash. Bigger would have been better for use in my cabinets. Oh well...I just keep rolling with this size since I adjusted all my shelves for it. No complaint at all on the product itself.

I originally purchased Ultrapro 100pk of resealable comic bags for my comics. After amazon recommended these backing boards and a few reviews I read mentioning what a great combo these boards and bags are together I ordered them. Overall the boards are fantastic. They are very sturdy (acid-free) and are very well cut - no rough edges, uneven etc. The one side is standard but the other side is glossy (I did not know this when buying). The glossy side actually makes a big difference, the comic can smoothly be put in/out of the bag without getting caught or jamming against standard cardboard. The comic itself can't even move while in the bag, it's actually phenomenal how sturdy these boards make it. It would take a lot of effort to actually bend a comic while packaged in the bag + board combo. PROS: - Cheap 100pk of boards but never lack quality - Well-cut boards with a smooth glossy side for easy enter/exit of your comics - With the comic in a ultrapro bag and with these boards it's almost impossible to even bend it unintentionally. CONS: - None I can't recommend these boards any higher, great add with the bags and if you want to protect your comics, definitely look into them. Just a solid product - I'd pay twice and it would still be a steal. Thanks for reading.
