Great mushroom kit
This a nice simple to use mushroom growing kit with everything that you need to get started, I bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas and she has managed to get 2 good crops from this, we are now on the third although there is a noticeable drop in the cropping performance as you move through the crops. Great value and one that I would recommend.

Love this kit
So good, i love mushrooms and I received this as a gift, it started to grow after around 18 days, then the mushrooms grew so fast, it was so fun to watch them growing everyday, and so easy to grow, all you have to do is spray water everyday, I love it, I am looking forward to making a meal with the mushrooms

love it
After just a few days, I noticed the first tiny spots beginning to grow. Within a short time about three days after the process started they began to expand gradually. They seem to be developing beautifully. My tip: Definitely use deionised water, as it contains no disruptive elements like bacteria, chlorine, or minerals from tap water. Just make sure the water is suitable for plants. My indoor temperature averages between 19.5°C and 22°C. The instructions are slightly confusing, so I watched the video and wanted to share a few clarifications that might help: - Remove the front lid, which is identifiable by the small indentations. - Cut an X-shaped opening into the plastic not too deep. The scissors or knife should be as sterile as possible. I recommend pouring boiling water over the blade beforehand, letting it cool, and then making the incision. - Next, take the bag out of the cardboard box and place it in a clean, ideally sterile container (I used a very large pot). - Fill the container with a little demineralised water just enough so the bag floats slightly. - Place the bag with the X-shaped cut facing downward into the water and leave it there for 24 hours. It’s okay if it stays a little longer; I went about half an hour over and it didn’t seem to cause any issues. - After that, remove the plastic packaging and return it to the cardboard box. Close the top lid. - Important: Instead of just spraying onto the cut plastic as shown in the video, spray under the plastic about 2–3 times daily once the mushrooms begin to grow and the opening starts to widen. At that point, it’s fine to leave the plastic closed. - Also important: Do not remove the ends of the X-shaped cut leave them attached, as shown in my photo. I was able to harvest 532.2g of mushrooms the first time. I'll see if there's another harvest. The mushrooms taste excellent.

Mycelium was viable - but no fruits and original block had to be discarded
Got a healthy looking mycelium block that after about 10 days in my dedicated fruiting tent looked a bit lacklustre with no signs of fruits coming through. Confirmed the humidity was sitting at 87% in the tent with temps at 17.5 degrees. (I use a diy environment control system with humidity and temperature monitoring). Still no Joy so I made sure there was plenty of fresh air exchange and not too much CO2 Buildup - the block was sat in a large customised fruiting greenhouse with plenty of airflow so shouldn't have been a problem At this point I was getting concerned so took a clean sample on to agar which grew nicely and then tested with a liquid culture which colonised well - so the mycelium block seemed healthy enough. Alas - I saw no results from the original block, which has now started to fur up with trich so the block is a writeoff. Luckily for me this isnt too concerning as I took the sample to agar and can try to colonise from there, but for a first time cultivator I wouldnt recommend

Good fun with nature
Such a fun gift to give someone you don’t know whether you’re gonna get anything and in the end you get almost 3 harvests! It has been great fun watching these come through can’t believe how quickly they grow as well. Yes, you could go to the supermarket and buy cheap mushrooms however this is much more fun.
