Are these going to shrink?

No, these socks don’t shrink. They are my favorite to wear because they stay in place.I wash them all the time and still look like new.

I wear a women’s size 8 shoe. Should I get the large?

I wear a 8.5-9 and got the large and I feel like they're a little too big and they stretch some the longer you wear them. I think you might be better off with the M as an 8 unless your feet are very wide or something.

I noticed there is no spandex in these socks. Do they fit snugly without slipping when going for long walks?

While I thought the socks would be thicker (I had calf length before that were thick) I have had zero issues with them slipping off. I am on my feet all day and the fit is perfect.
