Fit my old GE dishwasher just fine!

I have a very ancient Maytag dishwasher that came with our house. It works perfectly fine but the silverware basket was giving out at the bottom and silverware was sliding through it. My husband wanted to get a new dishwasher, you know, an excuse to ride to Lowes. I figured I'd search for a basket replacement on Amazon. I made sure to take all measurements off my old basket and this one fits perfectly. As fast as quality, the plastic itself doesn't seem as thick and sturdy as the original Maytag basket, it does hold the same amount of silverware The handle seems sturdy and it allows me to remove the basket with ease. It should self clean in the dishwasher and not stain, I only add that because it seems to be a question asked of Amazon.

Didn’t fit my dishwasher, but I made it awkwardly happen. Still…….did the trick.

Fit perfect in our 20 yr old Bosch dishwasher! It is good quality and size is perfect!

I don’t have a dishwasher but the flatware draining basket is good to have when you don’t have time to dry dishes.

The bottom breaks our easily and silver ware keeps falling through. Our original Maytag basket laster 15 years before the bottom broke off. This one lasted one year. Why can't these designers put more beefy support in the bottom where it is needed. Horrible quality

I received this basket today. It's slightly larger than the one it replaced in our Maytag, but fits just fine. I'd say that it is made of a slightly lesser quality material than the original as well; but the bottom (where I had a problem with the original) is actually better, so overall I'd say it's a fine value for the cost compared to the original.
