I started using this light therapy lamp to help manage my energy levels during the darker months and I have been impressed by the design. The unit is very slim and compact so it hardly takes up any space on my desk or bedside table. Setting it up was straightforward as you just plug the USB cable into a power adapter. It is worth noting that you need to use a 5V-2A adapter to get the full brightness without issues so make sure you have a standard phone charger block handy since one might not be in the box. The adjustable stand is sturdy enough to hold the lamp at different angles which makes it easy to position the light toward my face while I work or read. The interface is modern and very user-friendly with responsive touch controls. I appreciate the flexibility of the three brightness modes. The highest setting is incredibly bright and energizing for morning use while the lower settings are gentler for later in the day. A standout feature for me is the memory function because it remembers my last used brightness and timer setting when I turn it back on which saves me from fiddling with buttons every morning. The built-in timer options are also very convenient for ensuring I get the right amount of light exposure without having to watch the clock. Since incorporating this lamp into my daily routine I have noticed a distinct improvement in my alertness and mood. It does a great job of simulating natural sunshine which helps chase away the sluggish feeling I usually get on gloomy days or early mornings. It has even helped me regulate my sleep schedule by helping me wake up fully at an earlier hour. It does get a little warm to the touch after running on high for a while but that is expected with this level of brightness. Overall this is a functional and effective lamp that offers great value for anyone looking to boost their energy levels at home or in the office.

Great light therapy lamp with strong 10,000 lux brightness. It’s easy to use, has convenient timer settings, and fits perfectly on a desk or nightstand. I’ve noticed improved energy and mood, especially in the mornings. Simple, effective, and great value for the price.

Happy with my purchase so far! Nice little unit. Will be great for home, office and while on business trips. I really like the light and timer options. I just received it yesterday and have used three times since. Good purchase. Good unit. I do wish like other reviews that the kickstand locked into place.. but that is a small gripe. I hung mine from the lamp using the kick stand.. just a little hack:)

At just a little over $16.00, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the UXIO 10,000 Lux Light Therapy Lamp. It has three touch settings ranging from 4K lux, 7K lux to 10,000 lux. It's very easy to use, and it's also equipped with a timer if you want a specific amount of time for each use. It performs nearly as well as the Verilux 10,000 lux Happy Light, which I also purchased recently, with the SUXIO being a little smaller in size. The only problem I have is that it is somewhat unstable and is prone to falling down backward due to the kickstand in the back that moves freely and doesn't lock into place. In all, I prefer the Verilux which also cost more than twice the amount but has a larger surface area and sits up without falling. The SUXIO is perfect for travel or maybe to use at work in your office or cubicle. Lastly, if you've never used light therapy and don't want to invest a lot of money to start, this would be the perfect light to start out with. Just remember that the $16.00 model comes with a USB cable, and you will need the usb outlet block to plug it into. If you're like me, you probably have several usb wall plugs sitting around not being used.

I purchased this light therapy lamp about six weeks ago to help with winter blues and low energy during darker months. The lamp arrived in a compact box with the light unit, USB cable, adjustable stand, and instruction manual included. Setup was straightforward - attach the stand to the back of the lamp and plug in the USB cable to a power adapter. Important note: the product requires a 5V-2A adapter which isn’t included, and using a lower amperage adapter like 5V-1A can cause malfunctions. I’m using a standard phone charger adapter that meets the 2A requirement and it works fine. The three brightness modes provide good flexibility. The 4000 lux setting is gentle for initial use or evening sessions, 7000 lux is a nice middle option, and the 10000 lux maximum setting is very bright and energizing for morning use. The gradual brightness increase when turning it on is a nice touch that prevents harsh sudden light. The memory function works well - when I turn it on it remembers my last used setting which saves time. The timer options of 30, 60, or 90 minutes are convenient for scheduling sessions. I typically use the 30 minute setting in the morning while having breakfast and reading. The adjustable stand allows me to angle the lamp toward my face at different positions which is helpful for getting the right light exposure. The slim design doesn’t take up much desk space. However, after running on the highest brightness setting for 30+ minutes, the lamp gets noticeably warm to the touch. Not hot enough to be concerning but warmer than expected. The 100 LED setup does provide flicker-free bright light without harsh glare or hot spots as claimed. The light quality is pleasant and doesn’t strain my eyes. The 49 inch USB cable provides decent length for positioning flexibility on my desk or table. After six weeks of regular morning use I have noticed feeling more alert and energized during the darker winter mornings. Overall this is a functional light therapy lamp with useful features and good brightness options. Just be aware of the adapter requirements and that it warms up during extended use at high brightness

Unfortunately, this lamp stopped working after 3 months. It only works at 4000 lux but at 10000 lux it dims. There was no damage to the lamp. I just noticed it happening progressively more over the last month or two, and now, it happens all the time. Such a pity, because I did like this product alot and use other therapy lamps but this one, unfortunately, is not worth the price.

Purchased mine in 2023 and have used it daily in the winter months. Never had an issue with it. I have the USB one not the rechargeable one. There is three options one with a plug, a rechargeable or a simple usb. I think lots of the bad reviews are because the wrong one was purchased. But I’ve had my 3 years and it works great I use it sitting at my desk so it’s very easy to plug into my laptop or even the usb port on my nightside table. I’ve taken with me on vacation and I just use a portable power bank. (If you are buying the USB one note it only comes with a USB cord which is fine with me.)

Induces headaches even without having it towards your face and is not rechargeable

I bought the lamp recently to cope up with winter blues.I use the lamp first thing in the morning and it keeps my mood uplifted . Worth the buy!
