Easy cooking, free of fossil fuels
I know it's expensive but I love this thing. It cooked eggs to perfection in 15 minutes. Tamales and taquitos got nice and crispy. No need to heat up my travel trailer or use fossil fuels fuels. Two of us cooked all of our meals all summer with one of these. Now we are spoiled. Even with the largest one, be prepared for the small diameter of the tube. It can accommodate 3 tamales, 5 eggs, and 6 or 7 taquitios or hot dogs, a salmon patty and veggies... but you can't shove a frozen muffin in there. It takes a bit to master the timing, leveling, and aiming, just don't leave it empty in the sun.

Cooks your food anywhere, as long as you have sun!
This little oven is the bomb! My first meal was a very simple link sausage, cut up, with potatoes, green peppers, and onions. I through them all in together with some butter, salt and pepper. It takes a bit longer to cook than in the house, but in about an hour and 15 minutes, we were eating a delicious steaming meal! It is very portable with handles that transfer down and become the legs. It is built well, as there is an S-hook that connects the two legs for stability. With a liner of foil sprayed with Pam, it was simple to clean and put away. It is a bit expensive, but if you think of it as an investment, and use it often, you will be happy with this purchase. My only wish was that it came with a bag, but that has to be bought separately.

Very Impressive Results
I wanted to wait until I tried cooking a bunch of things before I reviewed this and I've been thoroughly impressed with this solar stove. So far I've cooked up frozen chicken tenders, cut up potatoes with sliced smoked sausage, hot dogs, croissant rolls, and even hard "boiled" eggs (you just place the eggs in the pan and let them bake in the cooker- they won't burst) and chicken drumsticks.. and everything has come out great. I think I'll be looking to pick up another one so that I can cook meat in one and the sides in the other. 2 servings is what you can expect with this version. What's neat is that you can turn the unit away from the sun, or close up the reflectors and the food will continue to cook and stay hot for a LONG time. Cleaning it isn't that much of a chore- they include an attachment that you can screw on to the tray and then use the tray to reach inside the tube to clean. The tray is easy to clean in the sink if you have a double sink. I use an small amount PAM when I cook with it so nothing sticks.

Very Fragile....not kid safe.
This is a great concept and I bought one as soon as I saw it. However using it is a mixed bag. First time trying it went great and terrible. Hot dogs were great and cooked quickly. Then tried to roast some corn. I guess my mistake was not letting the stove cool down between entries. The cool temperature of the corn shattered the glass tube immediately. Bummed, I called customer support. They were very understanding and said that it would be covered under warranty. Great! Very excited until a few hours later...received an email telling me ( for the first time, this was never mentioned live on the phone with customer service) telling me that to receive my replacement part I needed to submitted a credit card to pay $20 in shipping otherwise there is no coverage. I get it, it's just very disappointing and unprofessional. I would definitely think twice if your ever going to have any children around this stove as it is very fragile.

Color me impressed!
I'll admit that I was skeptical about this but I after seeing the reviews and I was willing to risk my wallet for it and I have no regrets at all. I used it twice during a recent camping trip where I cooked bacon (picture attached) and it took about 30 minutes but it was worth the wait because they came evenly cooked and tasty! Later that evening I steamed some green beans and they came out okay, perhaps I should've waited longer. I just cooked some omelettes and it came out fluffy and dry enough to enjoy! This thing is great for camping, picnics, beach outings, tailgating so long as you got sun, which works best when you have full sun. The only downside is that it's tough to open up the legs/kickstand because it's tightly wound up but I suppose having a tool could help loosen it whenever you need to angle the thing.

Cooks everything you can fit in the long slender tube!
Works great aside from having to tighten leg supports with an allen key whenever I adjust angle of solar cooker. Cooks most things, bread, meat, potatoes, hardboiled eggs, veggies. I use the webake silicone hot dog bun molds cut to size so I have less of a mess to clean.

'boiled' eggs (as they call it) are a poor choice for the GoSun because you can't tell when ...
So far I have cooked roasted eggs, fried eggs with toast, hot-dogs, brownies and boiled water with my GoSun. I live in Hawaii and did my tests at noon on clear summer days. I roasted two eggs for 30 minutes. I cracked one open, it was not even soft-boiled. I left the other one in for 15 more minutes, and it was somewhat overcooked. Really, 'boiled' eggs (as they call it) are a poor choice for the GoSun because you can't tell when the egg is cooked properly. The next day, I put some butter in the tray and cracked two eggs into it, and rolled up two slices of bread. After 40 minutes and some not very graceful technique for unrolling the bread, I had some dry toast and eggs over-hard. Again, cooking was difficult because the cooking time isn't known in advance, and you can't see what you are cooking while it cooks. Overall I don't think eggs are a good example for the GoSun and don't recommend it. The next day I made some hot-dogs. This took 20 minutes, twice the time the booklet says. The hot-dogs turned out perfectly. Next, I made brownies. I used a high rated recipe for regular brownies on the internet. The brownies came out perfectly after cooking for 1 hour. The downside was they stuck to the pan and left particles in the tube so it had to be scrubbed. I should have put the batter in aluminum foil, but I wasn't patient enough to line the tubular pan. Next, I wanted to test boiling water, but I saw a video that says not to boil water directly in the tube as it wears it out. I do not have a brewing insert (can you buy one?), so I made one with a red-bull can by burning off the plastic coating. I was able to boil water after 45 minutes in the sun, but the red-bull can didn't hold enough water for a cup of tea. I also used a wireless thermometer to measure tempuratures inside the tube and food. I think this would be a must for cooking many items like meat to guarantee the food is safe to eat. I was able to get the tube up to 411 degrees while heating a rock, I think it would have gone hotter. I used a laser thermometer to measure the heat of the rock, and it was 350 degrees after about an hour. I took the GoSun out of the sun, but left it sealed and came back an hour later. The rock was still nearly 300 degrees, so the GoSun could work as a food warmer. I am not sure how many people will be able to get practical use from the GoSun stove. You need a very special use case in order to rationalize using it; for example, when flames are banned. Now, it only works at mid-day, so typically you are going to want to pick recipes that cook during the day and kept warm until eaten.
