A quality Kohler kitchen sink drain.....
I had a 'K' stainless steel kitchen sink drain and after 7 years, it started to rust. How is that possible? It's not really stainless apparently. Anyway, went to the box stores and did my 'research'. Lots of the same out there. I rean across the Kohler drain and thought it was pricey. It is, but I don't mind paying for quality and Kohler has been pretty consistent in that regard. I placed the order, and received the drain the next day. What a difference between the Kohler drain and the stamped steel drains I have had in the past. I think the Kohler drain is cast brass (or bronze) so it is hefty and very well made. The mounting apparatus is well designed and really easy for the do-it-yourselfer - all I needed was some plumbers putty and a new downtube (my old one was too short) but install was a breeze. Again, my assumption is that this is a plated brass fixture with a finish to mimic stainless steel. I'm pretty picky and the finish matches pretty well with my stainless faucet and less so with my disposal drain flange. But, like mixing stainless appliances, the only way to match 100% is to get the same brand. Overall the difference isn't near enough to matter in my opinion. Overall I'm very happy with the product, in all aspects from delivery to construction and performance.

Wow! Heavy top quality materials😍
Wow! We were surprised & thrilled with the heavy gauge materials & convenient design functions of this vibrant brushed bronze kitchen sink drain. We bought it to match the faucet for a kitchen remodel. 5 stars! It gravity fits with a 1/4 turn open or closed & is easy to clean. Seals great. Looks pretty in the sink so we leave it there. Love the new color option like a light brushed bronze brass. Very attractive.

Consider this Strainer - Good buy and worth the extra couple of $'s
When I decided to replace my old kitchen sink, I needed to buy a sink strainer. on the surface, they all appear similar but after researching this strainer caught my eye since a) it used a small gasket instead of a rubber bottom to create the seal to prevent the sink from draining, as you know, over time, that rubber gets worn and gross. Also, b) this strainer had the entire bottom cover with holes. I have always had strainers that clogged when preventing a lot of things going down the drain. I would have to put my hand in the standing water to free up the clogs. Having installed and now used the sink for awhile, I can report the finish is very nice and the strainer allows the water to drain even when filled quite a bit and it seals perfectly when needed. Easy to change the setting too. Very happy with this product (and the sink i installed).

Ease of installation, and made in the U.S.A.
From the moment I opened the box, I knew this was Kohler quality. I was also happy to see “Made in the USA” stamped on it. This is a very robust sink strainer. The directions are clear. Just make sure you have plumber’s putty and a #3 Phillips screwdriver, and you're ready to go. Just snug it. No need to overtighten. A superior quality piece of plumbing hardware. Would definitely not hesitate to buy again.

High quality, little issue
The build quality it top notch. These are super durable and will last a long time. That said, the seal to plug the water from draining is pretty hard and you will be best off pushing it down snugly before leaving a sink of water full expecting it to not fully drain.

Live it
Looks gorgeous in our stainless sink paired with faucets in the same polished brass color

Do Not Buy This Product If You Want To Hold Water In the Sink
Basket is sturdy, well made, easy to install and does not leak. By itself it would rate a 5. HOWEVER, the stopper is the worst design I have ever seen. It has a large metal plug with an o-ring that defies centering and sealing without a fight. If you like to run and hold a sink full of water, this stopper is an absolute nightmare. It leaks slowly when you think it is seated. Here is the drill. 1) Insert and center the stopper. Press down hard and try to wiggle it to make sure it is seated. 2) Run water to the top of the basket and observe. It will slowly leak out. 3) Repeat step one 3-6 more times until you win the lottery and the water does not leak out. You can then fill the sink and it will hold. I cannot believe Kohler charges $53 for a basket and stopper that does not seal. It could not possibly have been tested for functionality. This is not a fluke because I bough two for a double sink and they are both equally bad.

Materiales acabado de muy buena calidad y robustez, que por lo general son estándar de la marca, sin embargo el pecio pudiera ser algo elevado vs otras marcas con calidad similar.

Awesome quality. Not the cheap metal that you find with normal strainers
