I want to write a detailed review so potential buyers can get helpful 411. I just starting using in June off and on. I purchased because of its efficiency with carbohydrates and support for Mitochondria. There are studies out there that it is helpful for cognitive decline. Because it is taken under the tongue, I knew I didn't have to worry about absorption in my old gut. Taste: It's fine. It's a compounded product not a mixed drink. To me it tastes like a hint of Peppermint. I wash down residual with water. (coffee can block b1) I took a double dose yesterday because I knew the apple fritter I ate would be no good for my sugar levels. Nobody is suggesting anyone should take double doses without a doctor supervision. But I did. It would seem that I was low in Thiamine because today I feel noticeably better. Less stressed, more flexibility in thought and action, able to focus, more relaxed. As it turns out if you are slightly low in B1 you can feel very tired and stressed out. Sometimes after a "big" day of stress or work I need to "recover" this product helps me rebound faster. I gave it 5 stars because it exceeded my expectations. Energy is up. Mood is up. Focus is up. Flexibile Mindset is up. Focus is up.

A reviewer threw this away because “ethanol” is listed on the label. This isn’t ethanol from gas stations nor does it block B1. In fact, just the opposite. This ethanol promotes obsorbtion. It’s pharmaceutical-grade alcohol, the same kind used in nearly all herbal tinctures such as echinacea, milk thistle, or valerian root. Ethanol is added to dissolve and stabilize the benfotiamine, prevent spoilage, and actually improve absorption into the bloodstream. The amount per dose is incredibly small - less than what’s found naturally in ripe fruit or a bit of vanilla extract. This liquid form of benfotiamine absorbs fast and delivers noticeable energy and mental clarity within minutes. I've been taking this brand since 2021 because it works so fast and so well. Don’t let the ethanol mention discourage you. This is an EXCELLENT formula. I never want to be without it.
