This is a wonderful book for little ones a year or older. We have several Ditty Bird books and the music and songs are not over-powering but are entertaining and easily turned on by little fingers with an easy touch of the button on each page. Highly recommend!

My granddaughter loves this book. She listens and plays with it all the time. She seems to enjoy hearing the different instruments.fantastic book

I purchased all the available Ditty Bird books for our 1 year old grandson. He crawls across the room to the "book bin" and crawls back holding one of the Ditty Bird books. They're his favorites. I think there are a couple more coming out in August. I highly recommend them. I also confirm the battery issues. I ordered replacement batteries through Amazon (Maxell), but they also died quickly. I contacted the book seller/creator and they recommended another brand of battery. I have those on order now. The books should last about 20 hours of playing time, according to the seller. Ours did not get that much time. The batteries are difficult to find at the store, but easy to find on Amazon. It's easy, even for a one year old, to push the button to hear the song or the sound on each page of the book. A wonderful purchase for a very happy grandson. Also, the seller/publisher was VERY responsive. I received an email the very next day in response to my concerned email. I had found the email address on another review of the books which mentioned the battery issue. The batteries not expensive and well worth the price to have the books handy for an eager child.

This is a very nice book. Got it for my 1 year old grandkids (twins). They love to push the buttons to listen to the music. And the music is soft and pleasant so that it's not annoying to adults.

We bought this book for my 1 year old’s first birthday on 1/14. He loves it - probably one of his favorite books he owns. However, it is now 1/24 and the battery is already dead! Granted, he plays it a lot, but not enough to think the battery would be drained in ten days. For $17 I’d like to think it’d have more life. It’s a great book, but be sure to stock up on watch batteries!

This is super important! Buy extra batteries!!! After only a month or so of use on the Animal Sounds book (my son plays with it in the car), it started to die where some pages wouldn't play and some would start to play and then stop. I thought it was defective and actually got a return authorization from Amazon. Thankfully, I thought to try new batteries, and it worked again straight away. I put the old batteries back in to make sure it wasn't that the original batteries had just gotten unseated, but those didn't work. This musical instrument book is his favorite between the two books--animal sounds and this one, and I have already had to change the batteries out twice. I really like how easy it is for him to activate the sounds--he is 18 months old, but all of his cousins that are older than him enjoy these as well.

I love love love these books! They are easy enough for my two-year-old son to work and he loves hearing the music! We also have the Classical Music book and love it, so I had to have this one too. We have hundreds of books on his bookshelf, and he continues to pull these down because he loves the music they play.

Bought for a 2 year old, & may be his favorite! Great boardbook! Different instrument/song on each page. Definitely recommend & will be buying the other Ditty Bird books!

Incredible! I love the instrumental track which allows me to sing in different languages for my baby. My baby boy loves the sounds of the flute and violin. I think this book is the perfect way to teach your baby about instruments. Please continue to make rechargeable books; they are fantastic!
